Ant and Dec issue update on Jamie Lynn Spears
Jamie Lynn Spears has finally broken her silence after her surprising departure from the I’m A Celeb jungle.
The actress was among the first of 12 famous faces to leave their lavish lives behind to take on grueling challenges in the Australian outback.
Although the 32-year-old impressed viewers with her ability to complete the tasks and win stars for the camp, Jamie-Lynn struggled to adjust to the jungle.
Throughout the show, Jamie Lynn has frequently been reduced to tears over the difficult conditions of the camp and missing her family.
After previously threatening to go home, the Zoey 101 star’s official exit was announced on Wednesday’s show after she was forced to leave on medical grounds.

The I’m A Celeb co-host Ant McPartlin told viewers: “We’ve got some breaking news for you, Jamie Lynn Spears has left the camp on medical grounds.”
As Declan Donnelly added: “The good news is, Jamie Lynn is doing fine and she goes away with our best wishes.”
Following her departure, the star briefly opened up about her experience and thanked fans for their support.
Taking to Instagram, Jamie Lynn wrote: “I can’t wait to share with y’all everything about this once in a lifetime experience.

“But I don’t even know where to start when trying to describe what an incredibly special time and place I had with some of the absolute best humans I have ever met and consider family now.”
She continued: “THANK YALL for welcoming me into your living rooms night after night, and for supporting me through all the highs and lows. (sic)
“I’m am so grateful for this show, and all of the wonderful people apart of it!
“I will be taking some time to recovery and spend time with my family, but looking forward to sharing all about my journey on @imacelebrity with everyone! LOVE YALLLL.”
