Jamie Foxx shares update
Jennifer Aniston has turned off her comments on Instagram following the Jamie Foxx scandal.
The Hollywood actress, 54, was alleged to have liked a recent post of Jamie’s which was deemed as antisemitic by a number of followers – and the Ray actor has since issued an apology.
The 55-year-old posted to his 16.7 million Instagram followers a message which read: “They killed this dude called Jesus… what do you think they’ll do to you???!”, followed by the hashtags “#fakefriends and #fakelove.”
The photo appeared to have been liked by Jennifer, despite her quickly distancing herself from the scandal, and she denied any involvement.
The Friends star later penned a post of her own.

The actress quickly denounced the post and denied any connection to it in her Instagram story by writing to her 42.8 million followers: “This really makes me sick. I did not ‘like’ this post on purpose or by accident’.
She continued: “And more importantly, I want to be clear to my friends and anyone hurt by this showing up in their feeds — I do NOT support any form of antisemitism. And I truly don’t tolerate HATE of any kind. Period.”
Jennifer has since turned off her Instagram comments.
Jamie deleted the original post and the actor clarified that he was “betrayed by a fake friend” and that’s who he was calling out with the post, “not anything more.”

Some people took this as an antisemitic post, as some believe that the Jewish people are to blame for the death of Jesus in the Bible.
Jamie wrote an explanation, saying: “I want to apologize to the Jewish community and to everyone who was offended by my post. I now know my words of choice have caused offense and I’m sorry. That was never my intent…
“To clarify, I was betrayed by a fake friend and that’s what I meant with ‘they’ not anything more. I only have love in my heart for everyone…”
He added: “I love and support the Jewish community. My deepest apologies to anyone who was offended. Nothing but love always Jamie Foxx.”
