Jennifer Garner Sits Courtside With 10-Year-Old Son Samuel at a Lakers Game
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck are fueling their son Samuel Affleck’s love of basketball, one courtside game at a time. On March 5, Garner sat front row at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors game with the 10-year-old by her side. Less than a month earlier, Ben treated Samuel to a day out at the 2023 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, where they helped introduce teams at the start of the game.
The game was a rare public appearance for Garner and Samuel. The mother-son duo made the most of their quality time together, snapping selfies from their courtside seats and sharing hugs in between quarters. At one point, they held hands for good luck as they rooted for the Warriors.
Demonstrating some major team spirit, Samuel showed up wearing a blue-and-gold Stephen Curry hoodie layered over a matching shirt. After the game, Garner and Samuel stepped onto the court, where they hung out with and hugged NBA legend LeBron James. Not bad for a Sunday afternoon.
While Affleck and Garner have been separated since 2017, it looks like their coparenting skills are perfectly in sync. The exes also share share daughters Seraphina, 14, and Violet, 17, the latter of whom Garner brought as her date to the White House state dinner on Dec. 1.
