According to their marriage license, the ‘Love Don’t Cost a Thing’ songstress legally changes her name to Jennifer Affleck following their surprise Las Vegas wedding.
AceShowbiz –Jennifer Lopez is all out to become Mrs. Affleck. The 52-year-old singer/actress has officially taken her new husband Ben Affleck‘s last name after they tied the knot in Las Vegas last weekend.
TMZ has obtained the pair’s marriage license which confirms the name change. According to the paper, the “Hustlers” star is now legally known as Jennifer Affleck.
J.Lo previously revealed her plans to change her name to Jennifer Lynn Affleck when announcing her surprise wedding to her fiance. Sharing photos from the nuptials, the “If You Had My Love” songstress wrote a note she signed, “Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”
Back in 2003, when she was still engaged to Ben for the first time, J.Lo was quizzed on whether she would take the actor’s last name. During the interview, she said she would keep her professional brand name, but added with confidence that she would change to Jennifer Affleck, “obviously.”
When asked if she would put on her stationary “J.Aff” to reflect the name change, she responded, “It doesn’t quite have the same ring.” The interviewer asked again if she would use J.Lo then, on her stationary, to which she responded, “Jennifer, Jennifer.”
Back to the present, Jennifer and Ben continue their romantic vacation in Paris. After having dinner at Le Matignon on Thursday, July 21 during which they kissed in front of their kids, 13-year-old Seraphina, 16-year-old Violet, and 14-year-old Emme, the pair were spotted packing on the PDA at Gardens Elysee on Friday morning.
The newlyweds were photographed sitting on a park bench as they were locking lips. Donning a white floral dress, the “Marry Me” star put her hand on the “Argo” star’s cheek. The actor/director, meanwhile, rocked a blue shirt with navy pants.
