Journey recently released a patriotic single, “United We Stand,” the latest song from their 16th studio album, Freedom.
“More than ever, we need to take care of each other and look after one another. ‘United We Stand’ is a reminder that together we can make a difference. ‘United We Stand” is out now,” the band shared with an American flag emoji.
“United we stand / Divided we fall / Just hold on to me, girl / And together we can face it all,” sings Arnel Pineda.
The group’s line-up includes guitarist Neal Schon, keyboardist Jonathan Cain, vocalist Pineda, drummer Narada Michael Walden, keyboardist/vocalist Jason Derlatka, and former American Idol judge Randy Jackson, who returns as bassist after 30 years.
The band previously released “Don’t Give Up on Us,” “Let It Rain,” “You Got the Best of Me” and “The Way We Used to Be” from the Freedom album, which arrived on July 8 via BMG around the world and Frontier Records in Japan.
Freedom is Journey’s first album in over a decade.
