When we last checked in with Jude Law in 2020, he was quietly expecting his sixth child with his second wife, Phillipa Coan. They married in 2019, after some chaotic years for Jude. Jude, who is 50 years old now, has three adult children by his first wife Sadie Frost. Then he had a daughter with Samantha Burke (a one night stand) and a child with Catherine Harding. In 2020, Phillipa gave birth to Jude’s sixth child. Now it turns out that Philippa and Jude welcomed their second child together and Jude’s seventh child altogether.
Jude Law and wife Phillipa Coan were spotted as they enjoyed a rare date night at the swanky Soho House in London on Friday. The actor, 50, cut a stylish figure in a brown cardigan which he layered over an alabaster sweater and oversized white chinos. Meanwhile Phillipa, 38, opted for a chic navy look along with a white woven clutch and matching trainers.
The couple, who wed in 2019, appeared in high spirits as they enjoyed quality time together after secretly welcoming their second child together – the actor’s seventh.
He is also shares son Rafferty, 27, and daughters Iris, 22, and Ruby, 21, with ex-wife Sadie Frost, as well as 13-year old daughter Sophia with model Samantha Burke and Ada, eight, with singer-songwriter Catherine Harding.
While Jude and Phillipa did not reveal they were expecting their second child together, it emerged Jude was expecting his sixth child in May 2020, just over a year after he married behavioural psychologist Phillipa.

Some men are just like this, and I think society should acknowledge that men can be “baby collectors” too. Some men love to “spread their seed” with as many women as possible. Seven children across four women though… it’s a lot. The ages are crazy too – his oldest is 27 and his youngest is, what? A few months old. It helps that Phillipa is much younger than him too. Hugh Grant did something similar, although his situation was complicated by the fact that he was getting two women pregnant within the same years-long stretch and the women had overlapping pregnancies. That situation was so f–king messy. Jude’s situation is slightly more straight-forward. Anyway, congrats to them – seven kids is no joke.
