Kanye West is said to be “heartbroken” that Pete Davidson is getting close with his children shared with ex Kim Kardashian as the pair’s relationship grows more serious.
Pete, 28, was spotted on 4 June on a solo outing with the rapper’s six year old son Saint at The Grove mall in West Hollywood, before the duo went to a nearby Walmart to look at toys, according to HollywoodLife.
The SNL star has been dating Kim, 41, for over eight months now and it appears the couple are taking their romance to the next level as he is spending time with her and the rapper's kids.
Although Kanye, 43, has spoken previously about his “unbreakable” bond with his children, realising that Pete is getting to know them has left him “deeply unsettled,” a source has said.
They told HollywoodLife: “[It’s not something] Kanye was prepared for or even thinking about when he and Kim split. For Pete and the kids to get so close, so fast, is deeply unsettling for Kanye.
“It’s really difficult seeing photos of them together everywhere he goes, and he just wishes things were different.”
The insider revealed that Kanye is struggling to come to terms with his relationship to ex Kim being over for good it seems — making Pete’s bonding time with his children all the more unbearable.
“Kanye is still having trouble accepting that he can’t fix this and get his family back together,” the source continued.
“He’s still very heartbroken and trying everything he can to stall the proceedings. It’s painful for him to see Kim moving on with Pete and to see Pete spending all this time with his kids has magnified that pain even further.”
According to an eyewitness, Pete’s outing with Saint went well as the young boy was seen laughing and holding hands with the comedian and appeared very comfortable spending time with him.
Pete was seen dressed casual in a grey T-shirt with a matching cap alongside a pair of dark green shorts, blue patterned socks and black Vans shoes.
Meanwhile Saint donned a blue T-shirt with a matching pair of shorts, which he teamed with what appeared to be Crocs and a multicoloured bucket hat – which sources told TMZ that Pete bought for him.
Bending down slightly to talk to the youngster, Pete appeared to be taking on his duties as Saint's stepdad very seriously on their day out together. Saint's other siblings and mum, Kim, were nowhere to be seen.
