Kate Ferdinands son Cree left terrified and in tears by Peppa Pig

Kate Ferdinand's son Cree has been left in "tears" after a life-size Peppa Pig left him "terrified".

The 31 year old took to social media on Wednesday, 14 September, to show off her outing with her tot, Cree but it all got too much for him inside a snazzy doughnut store.

In the clip shared on her Instagram Stories, Kate can be seen shielding her teary-eyed son from Peppa Pig as the popular children's TV character happily waved at him.

Kate can be heard saying "it's okay" as the presence of Peppa became too much for the youngster.

She captioned the adorable post: "Took Cree to see Peppa @dollyDonuts – he was terrified" with laughing emojis.

As she lovingly comforted him, Cree continued to say "Bye Bye Peppa" as Kate quipped: "Bless him".

The atmosphere inside the pastel-themed shop appeared to be in high spirits as other families also brought their children along to see the fun-size caricature.

Kate opted for a casual look with her hair in a low bun and minimal makeup. Meanwhile, her son was dressed in a matching outfit featuring a white T-shirt paired with beige pants.

Kate’s latest post comes weeks after she took a social media break following the loss of her baby when she miscarried at 12 weeks.

In July, Kate bravely revealed the devastating loss of her second unborn child with husband Rio Ferdinand after attending a 12 week scan.

She wrote at the time: "The last time I was in this hospital I was having Cree, but this time it was because our baby had no heartbeat in our 12 week scan and I had to have surgery," followed by a heartbroken emoji.

Kate, who shares son Cree with Rio, continued: "We were so excited & planning a space for our new baby in our family, we just couldn’t wait to share our news with you all, but unfortunately sometimes life just doesn’t go as we plan.

"So much to say, but somehow I can’t find the words. Absolutely devastated & heartbroken …but couldn’t be more grateful for the hugs I got from my big(er) babies coming through the door when we arrived home," with a broken heart emoji and a praying hands emoji.

After taking some time out to process the loss, Kate later returned to social media last month where she admitted she was “in a much better place” after taking some time out to grieve privately. She also thanked her fans for sending her love.
