Katie Price has been slammed by fans over a "dangerous" parenting blunder after she shared a snap of her two youngest children Bunny and Jett on horseback.
After posting the photo to Instagram, the former model, 44, was quickly met with criticism from her followers, who posted comments begging her to keep her children safe.
The snap, which she captioned: "My three babies" alongside a string of heart emojis, saw the pair sitting on the horse without a helmet or saddle.
One worried fan wrote: "No saddle or hats ! Do you know how quickly a horse can bolt ???"
Another commented: "Never sit a child on a horse without a riding hat on !!! Disgraceful"
While a third added: "Clearly u have no knowledge how strong a horse is and how easy they can bolt."
A fourth simply commented "Helmets" and another asked: "But did the horse bolt?"
Some of her Instagram followers did step in to defend the mum-of-five, with one such individual arguing: "No helmets needed on a stationary horse, stop always looking for faults."
Although another was quick to reply: "A stationary horse can still spook or move without warning x should always wear helmet."
While one follower found another problem with the photo, pointing out that Jet was also riding the horse while barefoot: "Bare feet and horses !! Ouch" they wrote.
Earlier this year Katie took to Instagram to show the painful injuries she sustained after falling off her horse twice.
Sharing some pictures of the injuries on her Instagram Stories she wrote: "As much as I’m a very experienced horse rider tonight I fell off twice.
“1st time horse spooked and bucked, 2nd time is when the horse refused to jump then bucked so high then ran off me and started to buckeroo, thankfully I had a body protector and hat on.”
Katie added that while she’s mostly okay she’s still feeling “sore and bruised.”
The reality TV star regularly shares snaps of her horses, and has opened up about how they have helped with her mental health difficulties.
In one post she wrote: “Many of you already know my story and have either made judgement or sent messages of kindness and support which helps me massively day to day to look back on.
“Weekly therapy helps me yes, but being with my horses and having that feeling of being outdoors on a hack in the countryside, provides me with routine and the calmness my life needs.
“It's important to find that something for you, that you not only love, but benefits your overall wellbeing – for my mum gardening helps her, for my sister it's walking and for my brother and my dad it's a round of golf….just a few ideas for you.”
