The Chicago radio host insists she is not lying with her claims that the ‘Breakfast Can’t Wait’ hitmaker asked for her to be removed from a scheduled radio interview because the singer was ‘uncomfortable talking’ to her.
AceShowbiz -Another day, another person has depicted DaniLeigh as an antagonist. Following the “he said, she said” situation with B. Simone, the R&B singer/songwriter is now accused of trying to get a Chicago radio host removed from a scheduled interview because she was “uncomfortable talking” to the radio host.
“This goofy a** person of the day award goes to DaniLeigh and let me tell you why,” Kendra said in a two-minute clip. “DaniLeigh is in the city of Chicago. I don’t know why, probably got a high school appearance, who the hell knows? But she was set to do an interview with the morning show and she requested that I, Kendra G., be removed from the interview because she was uncomfortable talking to me.”
“girlfriend, this ain’t ‘Wild’ n Out’. You ain’t gon B. Simone me,” Kendra added. She was making a reference to previous allegations that Dani got the comedienne pulled from an episode of “Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘n Out” featuring the singer over B. Simone’s rumored relationship with DaBaby.
Kendra was confused as to why Dani wanted her to be removed. While she once asked the “Yellow Bone” songstress about her rumored relationship with DaBaby in a 2020 interview, she said, “I actually be on the radio defending your honor, I really felt a way when your baby daddy played you in that infamous IG Live and I defended you on the radio.”
Kendra speculated that Dani might be worried she would be grilled about her personal life and controversies. To this theory, Kendra suggested that Dani should focus more on her job to make good songs. “That’s not my fault that your personal lives are more relevant than your music,” Kendra argued.
But instead of getting Dani team’s request met, her station’s program manager canceled the sit-down altogether, Kendra told The Shade Room.
Dani has since denied Kendra’s claims. “Ok this isn’t true,” she wrote on her Instagram Story with multiple crying emojis. “Wassuppppp y’all??? Whaaats going on [forehead slap emojis] I’ve never heard anything about this interview.”
Kendra, meanwhile, insisted that she wasn’t lying. “To be clear. I have NO reason to lie,” the radio host posted on her Instagram feed. “Furthermore, I work at a professional radio station that would never allow me to make a claim like this if it wasn’t true. Period.”
