After sharing a glimpse of her office, the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashian’ alum gets called out for having unique furniture design that offers more aesthetic purposes rather than comfort.
AceShowbiz –Kim Kardashian has been met with critics rather than praises for her office. Shortly after the former “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star treated fans to a glimpse at her workplace, she was poked fun at for having “uncomfortable” chairs among her furniture.
On Tuesday, June 21, Kim shared a TikTok video wherein she introduced her new skincare line, SKKN BY KIM, from her office. At the end of the video, the reality star offered a brief look at her office space. One TikTok user then re-uploaded her video, but highlighted not on the stylish look of the office, but rather on the unique furniture design.
“I think I just found the most uncomfortable looking chairs ever,” the account wrote over the footage that displayed a backless wooden chair as well as two triangular chairs facing a desk. Other users were quick to express similar sentiment, agreeing that the unique design of the makeup mogul’s furniture was unfit to be properly used like common chairs.
“Me wondering how people sit on those chairs,” one wondered. “Love it but the giant concrete slab is taking me out,” another said, while a third joked, “Those chairs are there to let people know that they are not welcomed to stay long.” The re-uploaded clip has since gained over 80,000 likes and sparked waves of hilarious comments.
Though many took a jab at Kim’s furniture, some of her fans came in time to defend “The Kardashians” star. They argued that the furniture was made more for aesthetic decoration purposes rather than comfort. “I love watching people hate on kims furniture thats literally kinda scandinavian looking,” a user penned. “As an interior designer, I loveeeee it,” another user added.
Office aside, Kim initially let out her TikTok video to promote SKKN. “I’m so proud of this line of products – not only are they efficacious, clean, backed in science, and formulated for all types of skin, but they bring a spa-like experience right to your home,” she proudly wrote in the caption of the post.
The ex-wife of Kanye West continued, “From sought-after ingredients and clinically-proven formulas, to compostable kraft bags and refills made from recycled materials, this skincare collection means so much to me. I can’t wait for you to get your hands on these products.”
On the same day, Kim revealed via Instagram Story that her ex-husband has played a big part in the making of the product. “My creative process wouldn’t have been complete – and I always give credit where credit is due – without Kanye. He brought his team and introduced me to [creative director] Willo [Perron] and we came up with the new name,” the 41-year-old star said.
