Just one day after sister Kourtney Kardashian skipped her birthday bash, Kim Kardashian explained why.
Kim celebrated her 44th birthday on Saturday, taking to Instagram on Sunday to share snaps with mother Kris Jenner, sisters Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.
She also shared snaps with some famous friends such as Hailey Bieber, Sara Foster, Olivia Pierson, Steph Shepherd and Tracy Romulus.
Kim said in the caption of her post, ‘So blessed to have hit the jackpot of friends! I couldn’t have ever dreamed I would be so lucky to call these girls my friends,’ she began.
She added, ‘Thank you for all the birthday love,’ before explaining her sister Kourtney wasn’t there because she’s on bed rest.

Kourtney shares three children with ex Scott Disick – Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, eight.
Her husband Travis Barker shares two more kids with ex Shanna Moakler – Landon, 20, and Alabama, 17.
The couple had been exploring IVF after tying the knot, with little success, though Kourtney revealed to Travis that they were expecting while he was on stage during a Blink-182 concert in mid-June.
It’s unclear when Kourtney’s due date is, but given the timeline of Kourtney’s announcement, it’s expected she could give birth between now and December.
Kim’s post appears to indicate that the drama between Kim and Kourtney has cooled considerably, as shown in this current season of Hulu’s The Kardashians.

Much of the third season revolved around Kim, 42, accepting an offer to serve as the creative director for a Dolce & Gabbana show in Milan, which upset Kourtney because D&G designed her wedding.

The old wounds re-opened when the sisters were seeing what each other was saying about them while watching the edits, which culminated in a nasty phone call where Kourtney called Kim a ‘witch’ and Kim dragged her best friends and even her children into the spat.
The spat happened over the phone, when Kim told Kourtney she was going back to Milan for a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show.
When the conversation got heated, Kim claimed that Kourtney’s kids were coming to her with issues they’ve had with her, which lead to Kourtney calling Kim a ‘witch.’
The sisters’ rift has been slowly healing over the season, which airs Thursdays at 12 AM ET/(Wednesday) 9 PM PT on Hulu.
