Location, Location, Location host Kirstie Allsopp has been caught up in a row on Twitter after she revisited claims she had made in 2015 about Russell Brand’s “reputation.”
The property presenter posted a tweet on April 28 2015, which read: “Am I the only one who thinks Russell Brands reputation may suggest he doesn’t have the attitude to women I might hope my sons will have?”
Russell has recently been accused of rape, sexual assault and controlling and emotionally abusive behaviour which were published in a documentary. He denies all allegations.
Over the weekend, a Dispatches special aired on Channel 4 detailing the accusations against Brand.
The investigation, Russell Brand: In Plain Sight, claimed that four women had come forward with allegations about the comedian’s behaviour between 2006 and 2013.

Kirstie has since revisited the comments she made about the actor in 2015 and posted a retweet alongside a scared face emoji.
Meanwhile, someone replied to Kirstie saying: “What a sanctimonious statement.”
The pair quickly got into a heated exchange on the social media platform, with Kirstie responding: “So Russell Brand’s behaviour is OK with you then?”
The social media user shot back: “Hahahah. What the h*** was that?
“**Kirstie’s brain** Trick him with your clever reductive morality trap.
“Do I think he was a top s****** 20 years ago? Yes. Has he been charged with anything illegal? No. Do I think your risk free public moral grandstanding is nauseating? [100 emoji]”

Kirstie then fired back: “This is the kind of b******* you get from those who support Russell Brand, he has been both the darling of the left and now the talisman of the misunderstood middle aged man.”
Before the Channel 4 documentary aired, Russell posted a lengthy YouTube video denying all the claims, while insisting that all his relationships have been consensual.
He claimed he was the subject of a “coordinated attack” involving some “very serious allegations that I absolutely refute”.
Russell said: “These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies. And as I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous. Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that.”
Four women made accusations against the comedian over alleged incidents from the peak of his career between 2006 and 2013.
Russell has since been axed by his talent agency, Tavistock Wood, who have claimed that they were “horribly misled” after the claims.
He has also been suspended from making money on YouTube following the allegations.
The BBC has said that they are “urgently looking into the issues raised”, while Channel 4, where Russell worked as a host of Big Brother’s Big Mouth, has also launched an investigation.
The latter’s statement added: “We will be writing to all our current suppliers reminding them of their responsibilities under our Code of Conduct, as we are committed to ensuring our industry has safe, inclusive and professional working environments.”
