This is incredibly sad.
Just two months ago, model Jeremy Ruehlemann passed away, and now his girlfriend Mary-Brian Clarke has also died.
Described as a talented influence in the fashion industry and a public relations employee for brands like TIBI, Elizabeth Bensinger, and MadHappy, Mary-Brian was just 24 when she unexpectedly died on March 21, per an obituary. She was remembered by loved ones in a heartbreaking mass at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Houston, Texas on Friday.
In the obit, her family said the “angels in heaven will certainly benefit from her sense of style and fashion.” The emotional message continued:
“Arriving at the gates of heaven in one of many pairs of unique sunglasses, more rings than her fingers could hold, and either a furry jacket or hat and a one-of-a-kind pair of trendy sneakers, and that magnificent smile that was a magnet for all. Mary-Brian will always be remembered by her contagious laugh, her witty sense of humor and her unique ability to connect with others. She was a light to everyone who knew her which came from her belief in the good of others.”
The Texan is survived by her parents Resa and Brian Clarke as well as siblings Abby, Hanna, and Jack. During Friday’s memorial service per People, her brother and sisters remembered her humor, love of dressing up, and what it was like attending fashion events together. Jack noted:
“Mary-Brian, we will remember the lesson to document and cherish every moment and to not be afraid to embrace who we are. To love fiercely and without judgment, and to appreciate all of life’s tiny details.”
Such valuable life lessons she left behind…
Her friend Paisley Gilbert also shared a touching video on Instagram in which the girls can be seen embracing. She captioned the memory:
“If only we could have one more reunion like this, I would squeeze you a little tighter and never let go. Love you past each edge of the universe and back my twin Slenny “

As mentioned, the cause of death was not revealed. The same goes for her 27-year-old partner, who died in January. When he passed, Mary-Brian was seen writing on socials, “I love you forever & miss you everyday.” Truly such a heartbreaking loss for both families. Those who wish to mourn Mary-Brian can donate to her Family Legacy fundraising page benefiting children in Zambia HERE.
We are sending love to the Clarke family and all those mourning this tragic loss. R.I.P.
