Lauren Goodger ‘suffering pregnancy insomnia’ and ‘can’t wait’ for baby due date

Lauren Goodger is days away from giving birth to her second child – another girl – with her on and off beau Charles Drury.

And while the TOWIE star, 35, is excited to be welcoming a baby sister for her almost one year old Larose, she has had a tough and "emotional" time during her pregnancy.

A source told us: "The doctors have told Lauren she’s due any day now. The baby is in prime position to be born so she could go into labour at any given moment.

They added: "The last few months have been such a hard ride for Lauren as she’s endured some very emotional days.

"She’s struggling to keep her eyes open in the day as she’s so drained, but is also dealing with pregnancy insomnia at night."

But the source finished on a high note as they told us: "She’s glad her pregnancy is nearing its end and can’t wait to settle down and nest with her family!"

Lauren has continued to open up about the painful reality of pregnancy as she approaches the birth of her second child.

The star admitted she “cries every day” due to the pain, exhaustion and sleep deprivation, while also being mum to another little one.

On her Instagram Stories, she said: "9 months pregnant no sleep for days (pregnancy insomnia) and a 11 month year old… on my own again today while daddy at work… the most rewarding thing but hardest I've ever done!

"It's not just the sleep deprivation… it's the lifting carrying constantly on the go on my feet with a massive bump I am in agony the pressure my whole pelvis is going to snap."

Lauren explained: "I can't wait to tell my kids about these days.

"I'm so tired I don't know how I am going to get through day 300… I have no energy to even drink water honestly that's even a chore!”

But followers have been there to support Lauren throughout her pregnancy, as one recently wrote to her: "You should be so proud @laurengoodger your body has been through so much trauma between growing your baby girls to the birth of them.

They added: "That’s woman empowerment right there girl.”

Another shared: "Through the tough times – is where you gain your formidable strength.

"Once you’ve gone through sleep deprivation & all the demands of pregnancy, breastfeeding, whilst also caring for another baby, you know that you are capable of anything.”
