Lila Grace Moss has divided opinion with her, er, interesting pedi choices.
The young model, 19, was born into the spotlight thanks to her famous mum, supermodel Kate Moss.
It’s safe to say being in front of a camera comes naturally for the teenager, who already has a spate of runway appearances and cover shoots under her belt.
But her followers got a little more than they bargained for this week as Lila shared a photo of her toes – or, should we say claws. Talons, perhaps.
Taking to Instagram, the beauty teased a new photoshoot in which she can be seen holding cherries in her mouth and gazing defiantly at the camera.
The next photo, however, shows a different part of her body: her feet, with her toenails painted a shining scarlet and filed into long, sharp points.
It’s clear Lila’s unique pedicure choices took time and effort to achieve, with the model showing off the result in glittering, open-toed silver heels.
It certainly made her stand out, and the bold move proved popular with some of her 400,000 followers, particularly among her fellow fashion fanatics.
Designer Bella Freud commented on the post saying she was ‘loving the toes,’ while model and singer Charlotte Lawrence labeled it ‘rad.’
Actress Irish Apatow sent a series of heart-eyes emojis, while TikTok star Addison Rae said: ‘WOW.’
Reactions from those without a blue tick to their name however weren’t quite as excited with one person writing simply: ‘No to the toe.’
‘Hahahaha the nails,’ someone else wrote, while one dramatic user declared the nails had made her ‘physically sick.’
One semi-helpful follower then told Lila she was ‘crazy’ for giving out ‘free feet pics,’ because that is a corner of the internet that really does exist, though we don’t like to think about that fact.
The model is following in her mum’s footsteps and carving put a career in her own right, however she recently revealed that Kate tried to put her off joining the industry.
In an interview with British Vogue, of which Lila was the cover model for the May issue, she said: ‘My mum always put me off [modelling].
‘She was always like, “If you wanna do it, you can, but I wouldn’t recommend it.”’
Lila, despite her mum’s advice, followed her passion and has enjoyed success as a model.
In the same interview, she recalled how she first realised her mother was famous as child when she noticed the paparazzi ‘were interested in her for some reason.’
‘Then I went to secondary school and everyone was like, “Oh, your mum’s Kate Moss!”
‘You don’t really have a filter when you’re that young and I was like, “How do you know who she is? She’s old! She’s old and boring!”’
