Lilly Allen Interviewed On Alan Carr's 'Life's A Beach' Podcast
Lily Allen has revealed that there is one room in her otherwise pristine home that is a “s*******” and that her children are embarrassed by the house.
Speaking to Alan Carr on his Life’s a Beach podcast, he asked her about the Brooklyn abode that she shares with her husband, David Harbour.
The colourful home is so striking that it was featured in the pages of Architectural Digest in February.
However, she admitted that her kids, daughters, Ethel and Marnie, who she shares with ex Sam Cooper, call it “the clown house” when Alan asked, saying: “Yes, they’re quite embarrassed by it.”
She further revealed that the entire property isn’t picture perfect despite being worthy of the cover of the prestigious magazine.

“This is my first house that’s been a shoes off house,” she confessed. “But it is carpeted wall to wall.
“I do like the shoes off thing,” she said. “We bought the house and it was a wreck and then we spent two years doing it up.
“So it sort of seemed like why wouldn’t you do everything except that room. We’ll keep that s******* just for when my mum comes to stay,” she laughed.
The Smile singer, 38, and Stranger Things star David, 48, tied the knot in a surprise Elvis-officiated ceremony in Las Vegas in September 2020.
However, if it wasn’t for the pandemic it might never have happened as she explained to Alan during their chat, saying that period completely changed the course of their relationship.

At the time she was living in Londonand had only been dating David for around six months.
He was living in an apartment in New York City when things were starting to shut down and she confirmed to Alan that they weren’t at the stage where they were ready to move in with each other.
But because of the pandemic, she didn’t want to leave him alone in his flat as they didn’t know how long it would last.
Recalling the moment she decided to ask him to come over to the UK, she said: “I was like, just get on a plane, come over here, and I said to the kids, this is mummy’s friend, and he doesn’t have anyone to stay with, so he’s going to be staying with us.”
She added: “If it hadn’t have been for that six months of us being able to test out what it was like to live together as a family, we would never have had the opportunity to try that out.”
