Final trailer for The Idol
After being the most-talked-about show of the year, HBO has confirmed it’s cancelled The Idol after just one season.
The news comes after the controversial show from Euphoria’s Sam Levinson and Abel Tesfaye, The Weeknd, seemed to cut its run short.
The Idol was both commercially and critically a flop and was subject to extensive reshoots after the exit of director Amy Seimetz, Deadline previously reported.
However, it looks like the show’s star Lily-Rose Depp wasn’t fazed by the news.
The actress, who played the Britney Spears-esque pop starlet Jocelyn, took to Instagram to share some racy snaps with her girlfriend 070 Shake.

In the raunchy uploads shared with her 8.4million followers, Lily-Rose, 24, was cuddled up next to the American rapper, 26, as they sat on a bus together.
Lily-Rose donned a pair of bright pink lace hot pants paired with a khaki top, while 070 Shake had one arm around her girlfriend.
In another image, Lily-Rose appeared to be topless and wearing red underwear and white trainers as she did a handstand over 070 Shake’s shoulders.
The final image was a candid image of the couple lying on a bed with Lily-Rose wearing a black studded bra top and crotched brown stockings.

Singer Tesfaye, 33, also seemed to be focusing on his next big project following news of the HBO cancelation.
Posting on his own Instagram account to his 64.1million followers, he appeared to be busy as he shared snap of himself in front of TV screens featuring stills from his various music videos.
The star didn’t have a caption for the image but simply looked down the lens of the camera.
Tesfaye previously posted a selection of photos showing him in the studio working on new music.
The Hills singer shared some black-and-white images as he was pictured by a set of mixers and a keyboard.
He captioned the snaps: “i hear the fire in the sky. the dawn slowly comes to an end…”
