She was part of the team which brought England glory at the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 final at Wembley Stadium in London at the end of July.
And on Saturday morning, Lioness hero Ella Toone, 22, revealed that David Beckham slid into her DMs following their historic win.
The female footballer – who scored one of the two England goals in the final – made the admission while on The Big Breakfast on Channel 4 alongside teammate Alessia Russo.
Woah! On Saturday morning, Lioness hero Ella Toone, 22, revealed that David Beckham slid into her DMs following their historic win at the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 final at Wembley
Asked about partying post-match, Ella confessed: ‘To be fair, yeh, we had a big party. We celebrated. I think some of us are still celebrating!’
‘Has anyone exciting slid into your DM’s since the big win?’ Asked co-host AJ Odudu, to which Ella admitted: ‘There’s been a few… David Beckham slid in!’ before giggling with Alessia.
‘Woah, casual!’ exclaimed AJ over the seriously impressive name dropping from England’s number 20.
It comes after former Men’s England captain David shared a sweet clip of his daughter Harper, 11, showing off her football skills before cheering on England’s Lionesses ahead of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 final.

And before the match, the former Manchester United winger posted a clip to Instagram of his daughter scoring a goal, before sending a good luck message to the team.
David went on to share a message for the Lionesses, telling them: ‘Hey girls, so I just want to say good luck for the final. Thank you for inspiring my daughter and thank you for inspiring the whole country. Bring that cup home!’
England’s Lionesses were the pride of Britain after Chloe Kelly fired them into the history books after beating Germany at the Euros 2022 final 2-1.
It had been a tense 90 minutes with flying tackles and yellow cards peppering a highly-energetic match, watched by Prince William in the crowd.
Supporters turned out in force to cheer on the Lionesses by flying England flags, painting their faces red and white and donning Team shirts to cheer on the players as they prepared to face Germany at 5pm.

Many of those attending Wembley, and those in pubs and bars with live screens set up across the country were in family groups, made up of young women and girls.
The Women’s team qualified for their first Euros final since 2009 on Wednesday night, as they demolished Sweden 4-0 at Bramall Lane.
England, who had previously never won the tournament, played their first and last final at home in 1984.
Back then, some players’ husbands were unable to join the crowd of 2,500 at Luton Town’s Kenilworth Road ground because they could not afford the transport.
The game only had halves of 35 minutes instead of 45 and a smaller ball than that played with by men was used.
