Love Island winner Amber Gill is thought to have split from her girlfriend Jen Beattie after a year of dating the Arsenal footballer.
Amber, 26, was first spotted in public with Jen, 32, at Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland in December last year but a year on, the pair are said to have broken up on good terms as they both pursue busy schedules.
A source told MailOnline: "Amber and Jen have decided to end their relationship. They remain good friends and the split was amicable but they just grew apart after struggling to spend time together.
"There's still a lot of love between them and Amber will always hold a special place in her heart for Jen but ending their romance was the best decision for their lives right now."
They were spotted at different events on Thursday night as Amber attended the Sol De Janeiro party while Jen was at the Spotify Wrapped event.
Jen, from Glasgow, also plays for the Scottish international team as well as Arsenal, while Amber has co-authored two romance novels alongside her TV and media appearances.
Amber won Love Island 2019 with Greg O'Shea and together they scooped the £50,000 prize jackpot, but split shortly afterwards.
Commenting on social media as she watched the 2022 series of Love Island, Amber appeared to confirm she would only date women now as she wrote: "Watching men makes me feel ill. I couldn't put myself through it again."
In another post, she wrote: "Switching teams was the best decision I made in my life."
Speaking to MTV's Queerpiphany about her sexuality in September, Amber said that looking back she thought it was obvious she wasn't into the men in the Love Island villa.
She said: "I watch back on the shows that I’ve been on and I’m like, 'god, you’re just so gay'. If I get sent clips on TikTok, it’s so painfully obvious.
"Everyone was just like, 'Oh, you’re just really picky', or 'you’re just this', or 'just that'. And I’m like, 'No, I just like girls.' But just something wasn’t clicking in my brain, I just wasn’t getting it."
Amber last appeared in a reality show when she took part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, but quit the demanding series after a couple of days.
Footballer Jen, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 and has campaigned for charity since her treatment, was awarded an MBE this year for her services to football and charity.
OK! has contacted Amber's reps for comment.
