Love Island star Ella Barnes has called fellow contestant and love rival Abi Moores "jealous" after an awkward clash at the reunion show.

Ella told Abi that she was "bitter" and said "Mitch's head wouldn't have been turned" if their connection was as strong as Abi claimed.

However, Abi then claimed that she would never go back to Mitch as said she was "gaslit by an engineer".

It was loved-up couple Sammy Root and Jess Harding that were crowned the winners of the 10th series, but 'messy Mitch' caused a fair share of drama between contestants during his time there.

During the show, Mitchel Taylor was criticised for how he handled his messy love triangle with Abi and Ella B, with fans fearing Abi was being 'bullied' by him during the Grafties challenge.

After the reunion, the Love Island stars have been making appearances on radio shows and podcasts to talk about their experiences on the dating show.

Whilst talking on Kiss, Ella B claimed she was "surprised" by Abi's comments.

She said: "I was surprised what Abi said at the reunion, obviously she's been texting me, saying she wants to go brunch with me, so for her to come at me like that was a shock.

"She did have a very good connection physically with Scott in the villa, so for her to say her connection was stronger with Mitch…yeah it's not."

She continued: "I feel like it's jealousy obviously, seeing me come out, Mitch buying me flowers, me going to his house, I feel like it's just jealousy."

The Aftersun audience were stunned into silence after an awkward exchange between host Sam Thompson and Abi after he questioned her on whether or not she still had feelings for Mitch.

Abi quickly made a dig at Ella claiming that they had a "much stronger connection" to which Ella told Abi that she "strongly disagrees with her opinion" in her attempt to "cause drama".

Since the show, Abi Moores has opened up about Mitch’s 'bullying' during her time in the villa.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan, she said: “Maybe at times, I did feel bullied by Mitch. He did make me feel isolated, and I just feel the comments kept coming and it was never-ending. It was one after another after another. "

She continued: "At the time, obviously, I was trying to change the connection I had with Scott from just friends to being a little bit more and having someone just pick at your relationship and having someone telling you it's not going to work… 'you don't like her'… I don't think me and Scott really got a fair chance to get to know each other."
