After eight weeks of grafting, laying on the factor 50 and one iconic crawl across the terrace, Love Island 2022 finally comes to a close on Monday night.
The nation has been gripped by the ups and downs of the romances between finalists Adam Collard and Paige Thorne, Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri, Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack, Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Luca Bish and Gemma Owen. But now it all comes down to this.
Hosted by Laura Whitmore, the final will take a look back on the past eight weeks, hear how the remaining couples have found their experience and finally crown the 2022 winners.
As we wait in anticipation to see which couple pockets the £50,000 prize fund – and if anybody finally decides to steal the money – Chloe Burrows exclusively told OK! what goes on during the Islanders' final days in the villa once cameras stop rolling.
The 26 year old made it to the final of last year's series with boyfriend Toby Aromolaran, 23, and fellow couples Faye Winter and Teddy Soares, Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank, as well as the show's winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon – who recently sadly announced their split.
She told us: "It happens over two days. You wake up on your last morning in the villa and you have to go and pack all your bags and that takes absolutely ages because some of us have been there for eight weeks. I remember Toby left with seven suitcases.
"You are then moved to a holding villa in your couples and you have a chaperone. We ate McDonald's and just sat and watched Netflix, but obviously you're supervised so you can't go onto the internet.
"At this point you're exhausted, nobody realises how tired you are so all you want to do is sleep.
"The next morning they send in the biggest glam squad you've ever seen and then they ship you back to the main villa and you just wait around until the live final."
Discussing the series, which has seen a shocking bombshell return, two tearful exits and even accusations of bullying, Chloe told us: "It's been the most chaotic series of Love Island ever, the producers have absolutely smashed it.
"It's been such good TV, they're such good people to watch.
"It's been a bit light on the love but that's not really why I watch Love Island, I watch it for the chaos so I've thoroughly enjoyed it."
Revealing who she hopes are crowned winners, it seems there is only one couple Chloe has her hopes pinned on.
"I want Ekin-Su and Davide to win. I just think they've been the best characters this season," she said.
But she hopes the series might have a more unconventional ending, and that one half of the winning couple might be the first in the show's history to steal the prize fund.
Viewers often claim that the show's final twist – in which the winning couple has to decide whether to steal or split the money – is redundant, as nobody has yet stolen the cash.
"I don't know whether [Ekin-Su and Davide] love each other but I feel like one of them might steal the money if they win and that would be amazing. I think the other person would find it funny," she continued.
"I think Gemma should steal the money too but I can't imagine that would go down too well."
