Lulu has had a very successful career, being noted for her powerful singing voice. However, her love life has not been as successful, previously sharing how she’s suffered many heartbreaks from her previous relationships.
The singer, 74, has been involved in a string of romances with high-profile names such as late Bee Gees singer Maurice Gibb, celebrity hairdresser John Frieda and even romances with David Bowie.
In an unearthed interview, Lulu explained that love is no longer a priority in her life.
She said: “My life is full of love, but it’s not one-on-one.”
Lulu explained how there is no one person in her life anymore, with her having a better understanding of love now.

She continued to The Herald in 2021: “Been there, done it. And it’s not a priority. Maybe as a kid it was. But not now. It’s about the bigger sense of love.”
Lulu met her first husband Maurice backstage at Top of the Pops in 1968 when she was 20 and he was 19.
After a whirlwind romance, the couple married the same year, however, this did not last with the pair separating four years later.
Shortly after her divorce, she began an affair with David Bowie, but this ended as she struggled to deal with his lifestyle.

Lulu’s second marriage came in 1977 to hairdresser John Frieda with whom she had her son Jordan with.
They split 14 years later. She was then linked to Braveheart actor, Angus Macfadyen.
Speaking to the Mirror in 2014, admitted that she has “put up walls” due to finding dating very difficult.
She said: “Maybe it’s because I’ve had so much sadness and pain around being married and divorced twice.
“I definitely put up walls. Maybe a part of me doesn’t want to go there.
Lulu continued: “I think it would take a lot of effort and concentration to have a relationship – it’s got to be a full-time job.”
It comes as the star’s 60-year career will be celebrated in Lulu at the BBC on Saturday evening.
The broadcast will feature a collection of Lulu’s most popular hits – including Shout and Relight My Fire with Take That – taken from a range of shows over the years, including her own series and TV specials that were a feature in the 1960s and 1970s.
The BBC has promised duets with Neil Diamond, Bill Withers, Shirley Bassey and Al Green, and performances including To Sir with Love, The Man with the Golden Gun and the Bowie-penned The Man Who Sold the World.
Lulu at the BBC airs Saturday at 8.25pm on BBC Two.
