Lydia Bright has revealed that she had to undergo surgery to remove a lump on her eye, after an Instagram post on Mother's Day saw her with a bruised eye and a facial scar.
The 32 year old former TOWIE star shared some sweet snaps as she spent her Sunday with mum Debbie and her three year old daughter Loretta, as they could be seen catching some rays of sunshine whilst standing against a countryside back drop.
In the caption, she wrote: "Three generations
"Happy Mother’s Day @xdebbietowiex I am so proud that you are mine and I am yours. You are unique, strong, warm, inspirational, ambitious. The matriarch of our magical family and the solid foundation of my life.
"Love you forever."
But eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice the bruising on her eye, as one commented: "What happened to your eye."
Lydia replied: "I had to have an op to remove a lump. It looks worse than it feels x"
Another concerned fan commented: "Is your eye ok?? Your an amazing mum," to which Lydia responded: "Getting better thank you."
She also replied with a number of love heart emojis to another fan who wrote: "You still look gorgeous and I can hardly see a scar so as you say just get on with life! ! Xxx"
On Monday morning, Lydia shared a close-up to her Instagram stories of her eye, which was bruised and swollen, with a stitched scar clearly visible.
She clutched on to her three year old daughter, and the pair looked like they had not long risen from bed as they shared a morning cuddle.
Lydia wrote: "Good Morning & Happy Monday."
"Feeling recharged, rested and so positive after the weekend's trip and reading your messages. Thank you."
She also shared some reassuring messages from some of her fans, including one that read: "Lydia, your op and your scar just makes you more of a relatable person for everyone that follows you.
"I hope it heals well and quickly but please don't not post yourself just because of that."
It has seemingly been a dramatic week for Lydia with her operation and a scary dash to A&E after her daughter suffered a fall and hit her head.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday 15 March, Lydia told her 1.2 million followers: "Monday was hard, the boiler stepped, the gate broke and as grateful as I am to have a beautiful home sometimes the neverending lists with a move can feel overwhelming.
"Yesterday was worse, I ended up in A&E with Loretta she hit her head whilst climbing. I still cry when I think of it now [broken heart emoji] Thankfully no stitches but she had to have the wound cleaned and glued."
