Josh Brolin has left his fans flabbergasted as he posted a completely nude photo on Instagram while filming scenes for his Amazon Prime show, Outer Range.
The Marvel actor – who played Thanos in the superhero franchise – was seen sitting on a garden chair looking out at a swimming pool while sitting with his legs crossed.
However, fans were more drawn to the fact the star was wearing nothing but a cowboy hat and a necklace.
This led Josh to quip that season two of Outer Range is going in a very “different direction”.
He wrote in view of his 3.3million Instagram followers: “Prepping for a scene for Outer Range Season 2. We are taking things in a different direction now.

“It’s a shifting world and we have to be sensitive to all. The power of example is everything, so examples we are.
“We aren’t supposed to post photos from the show but this isn’t really during the show, but rather a lunch outside in the beautiful Santa Fe desert.
“Thank you @brianbowensmith for documenting our most private moments on the set.”
Friends and social media users alike rushed to the comments to share their shock over the revealing snap.

His wife, Kathryn Brolin, commented: “Oh I thought they weren’t releasing the poster til later this year!!”
Tommy Pelphrey, who plays Perry Abbott on the show, quipped: “Our fearless leader.”
@Izzybizzybloor added: “Dude your realness is incredible. Thank you.”
Brolin plays Royal Abbott, a Wyoming rancher fighting for his land and family in the neo-western drama, Outer Range.
The cast includes Imogen Poots, Lili Taylor and Yellowstone’s Will Patton.
In other news, Brolin took to Instagram last month to vent his anger over the continuous school shootings in the US.
He wrote: “ENOUGH!!! Whether you’re an ‘It’s the people, not the guns’ or an ‘It’s the guns, not the people’ to say that our country is actively doing anything in its power to help avert this absolute random slaughter of our children, categorizes you in either total denial or living some fantasy of ambush that should render you unfit to take care of yourself or others.
“I thought all bets were off when children became targets.
“Whether pedophiles or shooters, end it f***ing now no matter what psychological/sociological manipulative spin any corporation puts on it.
Brolin claimed that he would “make our country great again by having some people balls reinstated into the By the people, For the people system that was intended and has literally been bought out.”
He wrapped up the passionate statement by saying: “F**k you, America, for not protecting your children.”
