Matthew Perry: Working in TV spoiled me
Matthew Perry burst into tears at the Friends reunion in 2021 and had to be comforted by co-star Jennifer Aniston.
The actor sadly died at 54 from an apparent drowning and was found at his California home on Saturday afternoon.
Two years prior to his untimely death, the actor reunited with his Friends co-star for a one-off reunion special.
The special honoured the beloved sitcom that aired on HBO and saw the cast reuniting for a non-scripted episode where they reminisced over the times the cast shared.
Matthew reunited with Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc but the reunion got a bit too much for the actor as he broke down in tears.

His on-screen wife Courteney said: “It was an incredible time. We became best friends.”
Matthew expressed: “Yep, I’m going to cry now,” before dropping his head down and wrapping his arms around his body.
Jennifer leaned in and put a comforting hand on Matthew’s shoulder as he looked visibly upset.
The star played Chandler Bing on the sitcom as the show followed six friends in their 20s navigating life in Manhattan, New York.

It premiered in 1994 and ran for ten seasons before ending in 2004, with 50 million viewers tuning in for the final episode.
In the reunion, Matthew said that before he won the role that catapulted him to stardom, he was at rock bottom.
He admitted that he only had $11 dollars to his name after appearing in several short-lived sitcoms.
The star has been very open about his battle with alcohol and drug addiction, and in the special, he said he would suffer from panic attacks about having to learn his lines.
He also revealed his all-time favourite episode was The One Where Everybody Finds Out where their pals found out about Chandler and Monica’s secret relationship.
Many celebrities, co-stars and fans have been left heartbroken over the actor’s death and have taken to social media to share their sadness and grief.
