Reality TV and Royal worlds briefly collided on Saturday when Kardashian family momager Kris Jenner, 67, and Meghan Markle’s mum Doria Ragland, 66, crossed paths on the red carpet. The pair both happened to be at the This Is About Humanity fifth annual Los Angeles charity event and happily posed for some snaps together.
This Is About Humanity was founded in 2018 and is a community dedicated to raising awareness about separated and reunified families and children at the border. They help support those individuals with essentials for living, access to legal services, mental wellness checkups, and other shelter projects.
The charity also provides for a range of projects including educational bus trips to the border, donations to legal services, construction projects at shelters, as well as material goods for unaccompanied minors.
At this incredibly worthwhile event Doria Ragland sported a bright and bold loose fitted dress with accents of yellow, orange and pink. Her effortlessly chic look was perfectly complimented by a casual up-do and a pair of beige pumps. The look was completed by the addition of a stylish necklace in a circle disc arrangement.
Kris Jenner looked every bit as glamorous in an all-white outfit, adorned with tassels. She finished the look with a stunning white Chanel handbag. The two ladies were then joined by Kim Kardashian who leaned in for a snap as she beamed with happiness.
Kris was supported at the event by her partner Corey Gamble, 42, who is also a regular star on The Kardashians TV show.
Kim Kardashian looked confident and glamorous as she debuted her new hairstyle. Kim’s figure hugging back dress was cinched in at the waist with a black corset. With her hair tied sleekly back into a ponytail, she completed her look with a dramatic and oversized Chanel necklace and a dainty Chanel bag, adorned with pearl detailing.
Doria Ragland is no stranger to mingling with the stars, as Meghan Markle’s mum often makes social or charitable appearances. Doria has become a huge part of Meghan and Harry’s life, spending regular time with the Sussexes in their California home. Harry and Doria have always shared a special bond, with Doria fondly recalling her first impression of the Royal when they met.
Speaking on the couple’s Netflix documentary, she said: "He was this 6'1 handsome man with red hair, great manners. He was just really nice. They look really happy together. He was 'The One'."
Doria has been close by the family’s side and even resided with them at Frogmore Cottage to help with baby Archie who was born in 2019.
