Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague couldn't bring herself to watch partner Tommy Fury's fight against Jake Paul on TV.
The boxing bout took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Sunday evening, with the professional pugilist and wannabe world champion, 23, coming out on top over the American YouTuber, 26, thanks to a split decision from the judges.
It was a fiercely pressurised battle between the pair, who'd waited over two years to step into the ring together, but the much cleaner shots came from the gloves of Tommy over eight rounds.
Back on UK soil, 23 year old new mum Molly-Mae invited her sister Zoe, fellow Islanders Maura Higgins and Stephanie Lam, and brand manager Ellen Graham over to her place to enjoy the event on BT Sport Box Office.
Thanks to Zoe's Instagram Stories, though, it's been revealed that Tommy's beloved opted to sit in bed with her headphones on to distract herself from the drama unfolding halfway across the world.
A video shows Maura and Molly-Mae's sister bursting into the bedroom to deliver the news that Tommy was victorious.
"@mollymae sat in her room the whole time [five laughing emojis]," read the caption.
"For the past two years this is all that has consumed my life," Tommy told BT Sport in the aftermath of the win. "Everybody thought I was running scared but tonight I made my own legacy."
He then dedicated the fight to his newborn baby daughter Bambi and Molly-Mae before adding: "This is my first main event, I am going to get bigger and better and if he wants a rematch, bring it on.
"This, to me, is a world title fight… we did it! We did it."
Jake, meanwhile, seemed humbled by the loss.
"All respect to Tommy, he won. Don't judge me by my wins, judge me by my losses," he commented. "I don't know if I agree with the judges, it is what it is but that is the boxing world.
"I have already won in life, in every single way. I have amazing friends and family. This is a humbling experience but I will get back in the gym and we will be back. I felt flat in there, I was really sick twice in this camp and I hurt my arm.
"I am not making excuses but I was not 100 per cent. We want to run it back."
Tommy's professional record now stands at nine wins with zero losses, while Jake's boasts six victories and one defeat.
