Morgan Wallen has reclaimed his position as the top musical act in the U.S., returning to No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100.
It took Wallen a gap of two years to return to No. 1 after spending five weeks atop the chart during January-February 2021.
The country star’s appearance atop the Artist 100 dated February 18 marks his sixth week in total.
Wallen has the record among primarily country artists for the most weeks at No. 1 on the Artist 100.
Wallen’s seven charting hits on the Billboard Hot 100 helped him a lot in achieving this top rank.
All these songs are from his upcoming album One Thing at a Time, scheduled for release on March 3.
In addition, his 2021 album Dangerous: The Double Album advanced two steps to No. 4 on the Billboard 200.
Meanwhile, Shania Twain returned to the chart’s top 10 at No. 8 after more than 5 years.
The Artist 100 measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay and streaming to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
