Doctor Who just got a new logo!
The mega-popular BBC series unveiled their latest logo amid news that the show will now be streaming on Disney+ globally, outside of the UK and Ireland.
“I love this show, and this is the best of both worlds – with the vision and joy of the BBC and Disney+ together we can launch the TARDIS all around the planet, reaching a new generation of fans while keeping our traditional home firmly on the BBC in the UK,” showrunner Russell T Davies said in a statement.
However, the logo is drawing major comparisons to another TV show’s logo – PAW Patrol!
See what people are saying inside…
“New Doctor Who logo is giving Paw Patrol,” one Twitter user wrote.
“Am I the only one who gets Paw Patrol vibes from the new Doctor Who logo?” another said.
The Disney+ news was announced by the next Doctor Who, Ncuti Gatwa, on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
New episodes will premiere on BBC and Disney+ in November 2023 to coincide with the 60th anniversary!
David Tennant, who just returned as the Doctor, will play the 14th Doctor for just three specials before Ncuti takes over as the 15th.
And speaking of PAW Patrol, there will be a PAW Patrol: The Movie sequel and a spinoff series. Get the scoop here!
