The former ‘America’s Got Talent’ host makes a sarcastic and exaggerated response to the report that he once wore Tyisha Hampton’s cheerleading outfit to cheer up her then-husband.
AceShowbiz –Nick Cannon found a rumor that he once cross-dressed for Kel Mitchell ridiculous. After being exposed by Kel’s former wife Tyisha Hampton for allegedly wearing her cheerleading outfit to cheer his then-husband up after he cheated on her, the multi-talented star appeared to laugh off the report.
Noticing the report on Baller Allert’s Instagram page, “The Masked Singer” host made a sarcastic and exaggerated response to Tyisha’s claim. “Yep!! We Probably had the big ear of corn, a bunch of orange soda, and a couple of Kids Choice Awards up our a** too!” he wrote along with a bunch of smiling emojis.
Nick Cannon responded to Mitchell’s wife’s claim he wore her cheerleading uniform.
Previously, Tyisha dropped the bombshell in a TikTok video. “Remembering when I came home early to #NickCannon wearing my full cheerleading uniform (including the briefs) doing cheers on the bed for my ex husband #kelmitchell to cheer him up, because he cheated on me!” she wrote over the clip. “You can definitely be blinded by love,” she added.
Kel and Tyisha, who were married from 1995 until 2005, share two now-adult children, son Lyric, 21, and daughter Allure, 19. In another previous video, Tyisha insinuated that Kel was an absentee father.
As for Nick’s close relationship with Kel, the former has opened up about how the former “All That” star helped take his career to what it is today. “You and [Kenan Thompson] gave me the opportunity to write episodes and stuff. I was the audience warm-up, just like Chad over there,” he recalled on his daytime show last year. “At 16, I would drive up in my mama’s old car. Kel would let me sleep in his apartment sometimes and hang out.”
“You and Kenan just opened your doors to me and really saw me as family, man. If I haven’t said thank you enough, I’ll say it again,” Nick added. “You inspired a generation man, all of these kids on TikTok…you guys created comedy for young people.”
