‘Headlining Carousel 2!’ Noel Gallagher plays impromptu gig at airport baggage reclaim area – but his very small audience look unimpressed
Noel Gallagher shared a hilarious snap as he performed to two airport travellers on Thursday – but they seemed less than impressed.
The Oasis legend opened up his guitar case and started playing at the luggage belt but the women in the arrivals hall sat on the bench next to him just looked the other way.
The 56-year-old – whose hits include Stand By Me – had landed at Palm Beach International Airport, Florida, US.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are performing at the Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa this evening.
It comes as music fans have headed to Glastonbury where Noel performed last year and Oasis headlined in 2004.

Noel joked as he shared the moment on Instagram: ‘Headlining Carousel two, Palm Beach International Airport, Florida.’
One fan said in the comments: ‘Wow the only time I’d wish to be stuck at an airport.’
Another added: ‘Those people don’t know how lucky they are.’
Yet someone else joked: ‘Being deliberately ignored by Blur fan.’
Another said: ‘You should turn the guitar case around so people can throw you some bucks. That would be epic.’
A different person added: ‘This is an album cover. Make it happen, Noel.’
It comes after earlier this week Noel revealed that he is going through a ‘turbulent and worrying time’, five months after sharing that he’d split from wife Sara MacDonald.
The star announced he was divorcing his wife Sara, 51, after 12-years of marriage in January and spoke about his current headspace.

He said in a podcast with Matt Morgan: ‘I’ve found myself daydreaming about the future recently. I’ve got a challenging personal issue to deal with at the minute.’
‘I find myself not worrying into the future of what is my life going to look like a year from now. That takes up most of my waking thoughts at the minute.’
‘I’m not really used to that. I’m used to just being in the moment and everything being stable where it’s a little bit turbulent at the moment.’
‘I believe life is a series of choices. You instinctively make good ones and I try to avoid the bad ones.’
Speaking about his ideal woman he revealed: ‘Divvy birds are f***ing amazing. I worship them.’
He has been spotted on a string of dates since the split with model Charlotte Carter-Allen and author Dorothea Gundtoft.
Noel recently opened up about the end of his 12-year marriage.
He told the Big Issue magazine: ‘When you get to your mid-50s you do come to some kind of crossroads in your life.’
‘It’s not uncommon for people who have been in long-term relationships to go their separate ways in their 50s.
‘I know a lot of people in the same boat as me and Sara. Particularly after the pandemic.’
Noel reportedly enjoyed a ‘double date’ with model Charlotte, who has appeared in music videos for Kanye West and a record with Eurythmics star Dave Stewart.
Noel said of his troubles: ‘I’ve got a challenging personal issue to deal with. I’m used to just being in the moment and everything being stable where it’s a little bit turbulent at the moment’

Noel and Sara are parents to two sons, Donovan, 15, and Sonny, 12. The rocker is also father to his eldest daughter Anais, 22, from his previous relationship with ex-wife Meg Mathews.
They lived in an £8M South Downs mansion near Hampshire’s town of Petersfield since 2019, with their two children.
Noel met Sara back in 2000 at an Ibiza club named Space – a year before his divorce from his first wife Meg.
The rocker was married to Meg for four years.
Noel and Sara tied the knot in 2011 at the Lime Wood Hotel in the New Forest in a £60,000 ceremony.
