Olly Murs is expecting his first child with wife Amelia Tank, just five months after the pair tied the knot.
The singer, 39, shared the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday, 6 December, with a sweet photograph of him holding an ultrasound photo while Amelia, 31, showcased her growing bump.
Olly and Amelia captioned the image: "Baby Murs due 2024," with a baby emoji and yellow heart emoji.
Dad-to-be sported a Christmas jumper covered in snowflakes as he excitedly pointed at Amelia's bump, which she showed off in a pair of unbuttoned denim jeans and a white crop top while smiling at her husband.
The couple, who married in July 2023, were instantly inundated with congratulatory messages on social media, with dozens of fans flocking to wish them both well as they get ready to become parents for the first time.
"Omg This is amazing, congratulations to you both, so happy for you," one person commented, while a second added: "Ah that's such lovely news. Congratulations to you both xx".
A third follower penned: "Congratulations!! SO SO happy for you," with two red hearts, and a fourth person said: "The best news Congratulations, so so happy for you both".
Olly and Amelia, who is a fitness model and a former bodybuilder, met in 2019 at a local gym before going on to get engaged in June 2022.
The couple tied the knot in July 2023 on Osea Island in Essex. They threw a t hree-day wedding event on the exclusive island – which they reportedly hired for more than £35,000 per night – complete with fairground rides and a music festival.
Speaking about married to life, he told OK! at the National Television Awards in September: “Married life has been lovely. I haven’t been around much, really, because I’ve been touring, so it’s nice to be home."
He continued: “I ended the tour in Plymouth, so I had a chance to see Amelia and her family [who are from there]. I said to my team I wanted to end the tour there because the album was about her and this year’s been about us and our marriage, so let’s finish it there.”
Olly also hinted at the time that he was eager to start a family with his new wife, he told us: “I’m not sure I’m going to go for six kids, but of course I’d love to have children."
