Paddy McGuinness STILL wears his wedding ring nine months after marriage split as he makes a ‘phallic’ biscuit during expletive fuelled appearance on Celebrity Bake Off – but it’s Joe Thomas who claims Star Baker
Paddy McGuinness hilariously entertained viewers on Celebrity Bake Off as he produced a very risqué biscuit for his Showstopper challenge on Sunday’s episode.
The comedian, 49, was appearing on the show for Stand Up 2 Cancer, alongside Coleen Nolan, Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas and broadcaster Ellie Taylor.
Despite saying he would be the ‘most chilled out’ baker on the programme, Paddy soon began to get competitive as the show progressed under the pressure from judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
He won the technical challenge with his cheese and onion bakes, but eventually met with disaster in the Showstopper challenge, as his attempt to make a chimney in Bolton ended up looking like ‘Bake Off’s biggest erection’.
Meanwhile, Bake Off fans soon spotted that Paddy was still wearing his wedding ring after his split from his wife Christine in July – after he was spotted without it in January.

Paddy got off to a weak start, as he put on his oven gloves to take his signature jaffa cakes out of the fridge, while Paul Hollywood called them ‘the worst biscuits I’ve ever seen with Dame Edna’s’.
However, the actor managed to slyly distract the other bakers during the technical challenge by pretending to be Paul Hollywood and giving out handshakes, allowing him to claim first place.
But his ginger biscuit signature chimney in the Showstopper challenge led to disaster after disaster, with the structure flying off the bench and meaning he had to start again.
‘The shaft has collapsed… story of my life,’ he muttered in a cheeky innuendo while he desperately tried to save his creation.
Eventually Paddy managed to fix his bake with duct tape and by putting the pieces of biscuit into a ‘Bolton mess’ – a take on the classic Eton Mess.
Presenting the very phallic chimney to the judges, Paddy explained away his messy bake by saying: ‘What I was looking to do was to give you Bake Off’s biggest erection’.
Although the judges weren’t impressed, viewers back home were charmed by Paddy’s witty personality on the show.

Despite a stunning recreation of Sydney Harbour Bridge by Ellie, Joe Thomas went on to claim the star baker apron with his model of Chelmsford Bus Station.
Speaking at the end of the show, he said: ‘I’m so chuffed! I can’t believe it. I’m just so thrilled.
‘I really just wanted to not be awful and I’ve been very lucky that a couple of things have gone my way.’
Meanwhile viewers also took to Twitter to swoon over handsome Joe, 39, who looked identical to his appearance in the TV show in 2008.
One fan said: ‘I’m hyperventilating watching Joe Thomas’, while another added: ‘Literally hasn’t aged at all since The Inbetweeners’.
