Pale Waves recently released an energetic new single, “Reasons To Live,” from the band’s upcoming album, Unwanted. The new album is set to release on August 12 via Dirty Hit.
“‘Reasons To Live’ is about a time when I felt truly drained and incapable of happiness,” Pale Waves frontwoman Heather Baron-Gracie said in a press release. “Then I found someone who showed me a reason to live.”
Speaking about Unwanted, Baron-Gracie said, “It was really the only thing this album could be called. It’s bold and unapologetic, and that’s what the Pale Waves community is about. We don’t need to fit a perfect mould, we don’t need to apologise for being ourselves, and we won’t change for anyone. That acceptance is what connects us.”
“Reasons To Live” is the second track from Unwanted following the The lead single “Lies.”
Pale Waves are currently on the road supporting 5 Seconds Of Summer on their U.S. tour. The rock band will also perform in a number of international festivals, including Riot Fest, Leeds Festival and Reading Festival, and solo dates this summer.
