Talent agency that has already wiped Phillip Schofield’s profile from their website after issuing blistering statement ending their 35-year relationship also employs star’s daughter Molly
Phillip Schofield’s talent agency of 35 years, which dropped him yesterday after his bombshell affair confession, employs his daughter Molly as a senior talent manager.
The former This Morning Presenter admitted he had lied to bosses, his agents, the media and ‘most importantly’ his family about cheating on his wife with a much younger man on the show, who he had met in his teens.
YMU Agency employs Schofield’s eldest daughter, 29-year-old Molly, who has worked as an agent for ITV stars including Stacey Solomon during her almost eight years with the company.
It counts Ant and Dec, Claudia Winkleman and Davina McCall among its clients and is often described as the real power behind ITV. One star no longer among its ranks is Holly Willoughby, who pocketed £1million in a dispute with the agency last year.
Bosses at YMU issued a scathing statement in the wake of Schofield’s bombshell revelation yesterday, suggesting Phillip had broken their trust, and have since wiped his profile from their website.

Schofield said: ‘I am painfully conscious that I have lied to my employers at ITV, to my colleagues and friends, to my agents, to the media and therefore the public and most importantly of all to my family’ (pictured with his wife and daughters, Molly and Ruby, in 2018)
Molly Schofield has worked at her father Phillip’s former talent agency, YMU Group, for almost eight years
In a statement, Mary Bekhait, the CEO of YMU Group, said: ‘Honesty and integrity are core values for YMU’s whole business, defining everything we do.
‘Talent management is a relationship based entirely on trust.
‘This week, we have learned important new information about our client Phillip Schofield.

‘These facts contradicted what Phillip had previously told YMU, as well as the external advisors we had brought in to support him.
‘As a result, on Thursday we agreed to part company with Phillip, with immediate effect.’
The firm dramatically severed ties with Schofield, who was previously reported to be a shareholder and ‘big player’ in the group.
It is not known whether Molly Schofield will continue to work at the agency, where she started as a PA in 2015.
She went on to rise up through the ranks, going on to become an Assistant Talent Manager in less than a year before becoming a senior agent in 2020.
Losing the support of the global talent firm, which represents over 1,000 entertainers, athletes and musicians, will have been a major blow for Molly’s father.
Without the slick PR professionals he has come to rely on during his lengthy career, and in the aftermath of this new statement, the chances of Schofield returning to the small screen any time soon look bleak.
YMU Group previously represented Schofield’s former friend and co-host of 13 years Holly Willoughby.

The presenter included a public apology to his wife and their two daughters in the statement he provided to the Mail
The pair’s now tense relationship reportedly first began when Holly left the agency, citing its ‘blokey’ culture, and set up her own female-only company Roxy Management.
However, her relationship with her old management became fraught as they became embroiled in a legal battle over her future earnings.
The case was settled out of court, with Holly pocketing £1million from YMU, with the dispute allegedly starting a series of divisions between her and Schofield.
Phillip is said to be a shareholder at the company, with The Sun previously reporting that earned £1million from them and is a ‘big player’ in the group.
In a statement via his lawyers, Schofield said: ‘It is with the most profound regret that after 35 years of being faultlessly managed by YMU I have agreed to step down from their representation with immediate effect.’
YMU Group has been contacted for comment.
