Pregnant Charlotte Dawson confirms baby’s gender in sweet video after ‘letting news slip’

Pregnant Charlotte Dawson has officially revealed the gender of her unborn baby, after accidentally "letting the news slip" earlier this week.

The 30 year old TV star took to Instagram to share a sweet black and white video of herself with her fiancé Matt Sarsfield and their two year old son, Noah.

The family stood together next to a cluster of balloons, the largest of which read: "Prince or Princess," before Charlotte took a pin to the balloon which burst to reveal blue confetti raining down to the ground – meaning she is expecting another son.

Little Noah looked adorable in a pair of pyjamas that read: "I'm going to be a big brother," and he was delighted as he threw the blue confetti up in the air.

Captioning the post, Charlotte wrote: "ITS A….. [blue/pink heart emojis]

"I’m so excited to finally share with you all what baba we are having, obvs we already know.. but here’s a little gender reveal for you all. Noah is going to be the best big brother."

Charlotte's official confirmation of her baby's gender comes just days after she appeared to accidentally let it slip, as she referred to the baby as "he".

Sharing a video with her son, Noah, Charlotte could be heard saying: "Oh my god. Baby's going crazy in my belly. Noah, he's going crazy."

She then appeared to realise her mistake as she said to Noah: "Are you going to come and touch… the baby? Are you gonna feed some crispies to baby."

Charlotte announced that the news that she is pregnant back in February, during an exclusive chat with OK!.

“I can’t believe it’s actually happened again and Noah is going to be a big brother,” Charlotte gushed.

The happy news came less than a year after Charlotte suffered a devastating miscarriage in April 2022.

Speaking of her joy at being pregnant again, Charlotte said: "I can’t believe it’s actually happened again and Noah is going to be a big brother!

"Obviously this one is a rainbow baby. I feel very blessed and very happy that I’ve managed to get pregnant again.

"We were absolutely heartbroken about the miscarriage last year. It came as a shock when I found out last April. It was."

Describing Matthew as her "period person" she said that it was he who told her she was late, but that she'd put it down to being stressed from doing pantomime.

She said days later she felt really unwell, so took a test which revealed that she was, in fact, pregnant, before she went on to take "1,500 more".

Charlotte explained: "I literally went through about 1,500 tests. I didn’t believe it so I kept thinking, “I’m going to have to do another one.”

"I’m so paranoid after last time. I just kept doing tests and Matthew was like, 'Calm down, you’re definitely pregnant'."
