Charlotte Dawson has revealed the due date of her “rainbow baby” with her fiance Matthew Sarsfield after revealing the spectacular news in an earlier interview.
Charlotte, who managed to keep her pregnancy under wraps for some time, is awaiting the birth of her second child following the birth of her first son, Noah, in January 2021.
Since revealing the pregnancy to OK! earlier this week, Charlotte has been updating fans about the pregnancy on social media, where she also revealed that the little tot is set to arrive on August 3.
On Wednesday, the former Ex on the Beach star, who was featured on the show in 2016 with stars like Gaz Beadle, Stephen Bear and Ashley Cain, took to Instagram to post a compilation of her pregnancy journey so far.
In the caption, she wrote: “Our little rainbow Baby DawsySarsy is due august 3rd. Thank you for all the love.. here’s some special clips of the last few months that I’ve been dying to share with you all. Hope you enjoy.. as you can see I did a million preggo tests I just couldn’t believe it.”
The compilation was set to Megan Mckenna’s This, which she released in 2021 following her numerous stints on shows like X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.
The clip began with a shot of the Clearblue pregnancy test with a positive result as she walked around the home to show Noah, who waved it around, and Matthew, who hugged her tightly and planted a kiss on her lips.
Charlotte then showed the test to her mum, Tracy Dawson, who naturally broke down with emotion as Noah sat on her lap in teddy bear pyjamas.
Charlotte lingered on a shot of the ultrasound before moving to the video to show herself posing in the corally pink underwear and touching her stomach.
After a few more shots of Charlotte touching her stomach in various outfits, the video shifted to show Noah kissing his mummy’s belly.
In the comments, many fans and friends wished the family the best, with Coronation Street actress Brooke Vincent penning: “Congratulations babe xx lots of love to you all.”
“Love you my girl these videos are so beautiful…. I’m so happy for you and @matt_sarsfield congratulations,” wrote Megan, as Claire Sweeney added, “Congratulations.”
“I can’t believe it’s actually happened again and Noah is going to be a big brother,” Charlotte revealed earlier this week in an exclusive interview with OK.
Charlotte, who is the daughter of the late comedic legend Les Dawson, also spoke about the birthing plans following a “dramatic” experience with Noah.
When asked whether she’d implemented any plans yet, the reality TV star replied: "Absolutely not. I’m petrified because of the one with Noah.
"Maybe this time I’m just not going to get an epidural but I don’t know if I could do that. People say your second baby flies out. I had everything planned for Noah’s birth but everything went out the window."
Talking about other birthing methods like water birth, Charlotte added: "I've always wanted a water birth because I love water and I wanted to with Noah, but I couldn’t do it because of the gestational diabetes.”
She also dished on potential baby names, as she explained: “Penelope and I also love Lily-Rose, but I think Penelope is more me. I love P and N. I’ve always loved Penelope, it’s such a lovely name.”
While the couple doesn’t have any concrete boys' names picked out yet, Charlotte is a fan of Alfie as it’s “quite cute.”
“But there’s nothing yet that stands out for me. It’s really hard picking names,” she added.
