Pregnant Geordie Shore star Holly Hagan has revealed the gender of her unborn baby, during the filming of a second wedding for the hit MTV series.
In a blog post detailing the gender reveal, the mum-to-be wrote: "Now we finally know we're going to have a BOY and I could not be more excited!!!
“We stood up in front of everyone and pressed a big red button that led to the official reveal. If blue confetti came bursting out of the cannon behind us it was a boy and if it was pink confetti… well, you get it!
"We turned around and I was so nervous we'd see pink but we were over the moon when it was blue. I was so relieved."
Holly wrote that the guests went wild when the blue lights lit up, joking that at one point it sounded as though her guests were booing as they all shouted "blue."
Revealing that she had been convinced she was having a son, the TV star added that she and husband Jacob Blyth has been referring to the baby as "he" since discovering she was pregnant and that they'd only thought of boy names so far.
Teasing the gender reveal, Holly took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of herself and Jacob, which she captioned: "iTS A ….. All the exclusive pics and gossip from our U.K. wedding/gender reveal live now on my blog + 30 minute dance workout, recipes and loads more!"
Preparing her home the new arrival, Holly previously shared that she had faced online shaming from trolls over her decor, and the colour of a ball pit she purchased for her son.
The TV star shared an unboxing video of the white ball pit but was quickly hit with criticism by some followers, with one commenting: "Babies need colour and visual stimulation, all these bland grey and white shades though."
While a second argued: "I don't get it… I would of gone for colourful balls if this was for the baby anyway."
Holly then took to her Instagram Story to hit back at her critics.
Speaking to the camera, Holly begins: "Guys I've got the colour police in my DMs because I got a white ball pit, and I'm just like 'how can anybody be bothered to care about what toys other people's children have.
"I can't imagine taking the time out of my day to send somebody a message because they had a ball pit that wasn't multi-coloured."
Laughing, she continued: "I can't believe I'm even coming on here and saying this. I can't believe we're having this conversation. I was warned that this would happen, but babies can't even see in colour until four months or five months.
"That's why you have the black and white sensory books and things like that, which we have got by the way, we just obviously don't share every single moment of our life. Will I post the Fisher Price toys on social media? Probably not, they don't look great but it doesn't mean they're not there."
