Prince Harry is believed to have crossed paths with Aussie singer Ricki-Lee Coulter at a Sam Sparro concert at a pub in London. The Australian Idol star’s first hint that a public figure of importance was expected at the show was the arrival of men dressed in “secret service” style suits – and then whispers began that the Duke Of Sussex was among that night’s special guests.
The 37-year-old, whose new single On My Own hits the airwaves on Friday, spilled all about the surprise encounter on the I’ve Got News For You podcast.
“I went to the bar and all of a sudden all these people started coming in, like secret service-looking people in suits,” she recalled.
Initially confused about what was happening, Ricki-Lee then spotted Harry, and the pair chatted.
“We introduced ourselves and just talked… it was so surreal and awesome,” she enthused.

“He was so down to earth and lovely and cool!”
Ricki-Lee first began her rise to fame when she joined Australian Idol in 2004, and landed herself a place in the top ten.
She has continued to enjoy a career in the industry, and this year presented Channel Seven’s reboot with Scott Tweedie.
The singer hit the headlines recently when she claimed that she and her husband, Richard Harrison, have no interest in starting a family.
She sensationally revealed to Stellar magazine that it was hailing from a large family herself that had deterred her.
“I’m the eldest of like 30 grandchildren [and] my mum is one of like, 50,000 kids,” she joked.
“I was the eldest of all these grandkids and I was the one looking after them.
“My mum had me when she was really young and so I was dumped with whoever – aunty or friend or cousin, who would take me while she went out partying.”
Meanwhile, all eyes are on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as the nation debates whether or not they will attend King Charles’s coronation in May.
Today he was spotted in London attending the High Court for a hearing over alleged privacy infringement.
