Reese Witherspoon and Kevin Costner are not dating despite rumours, the Big Little Lies star’s rep has confirmed.
The star’s rep confirmed to Page Six: “This story is completely fabricated and not true.”
Rumours Kevin was dating a new woman began circulating last month when the Yellowstone star was pictured shopping for women’s fits in Montecito County, near Santa Barbara, California.
As fans speculated over Kevin’s gift buying, sources claimed the actor has had his eyes on one Hollywood star since her Oscar win.
A source told New Idea on Wednesday that the pair had got close after discussing a potential collaboration.

The insider told the outlet: “Kevin’s had his eye on Reese ever since she won her Oscar, but he didn’t count on finding her absolutely charming as hell.
“They’ve been calling and texting on the pretense of finding the perfect script, but it’s becoming almost a daily occurrence.”
Kevin has been single since his very high-profile split from Christine Baumgartner this year, with the estranged couple tying the knot in 2004.

Reese, likewise, has been single since she split from her husband Jim Toth in March, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
The former couple reached a settlement just four months after filing due to their separate bank accounts, meaning no alimony was owed to each other.
Despite Kevin and Reese not being a thing, this didn’t stop fans from sharing their excitement on X, formerly known as Twitter.
@Laurenk83 said: “I won’t mind & I would actually really love this couple if it is true that Kevin Costner & Reese Witherspoon are dating! That would mean that my two of my favorite actor/actress are together,let’s see!” (sic)
