Capital FM host Roman Kemp was left mortified when his mum Shirlie, who shot to fame as a backing singer for Wham!, decided to reveal to the nation that when Roman was born, doctors struggled to find his manhood.
The 61 year old former singer appeared on her son's breakfast show, where she shared the news with the nation.
Roman, 30, who is also the son of Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, could not hide his embarrassment after his mum candidly opened up about his birth, saying that doctors were left scratching their heads as they did not know what to do.
Shirlie revealed: "When you were born, which was in America 1993, I remember it well. We were so excited, Dad and I was so excited… Didn't know if we were having a boy or girl or… just so happy to have another baby."
She added: "But the hospital staff took you away for quite a long time. And we were getting really really worried… all because they said there was a problem finding your willy."
Despite roars of laughter from his co-stars Sian Welby and Chris Stark, Roman hid shame by putting his head into his hands.
However, their close connection was made clear when Roman decided to hit back with a secret tale of his own.
He told his mum that while he was home alone as a teenager, a pal gave a strip tease to their friends before sliding down the bannister, completely naked – resulting in the bannister breaking.
He explained: "We had to super glue the bannisters back together. Albeit quite soiled and you've touched that bannister for quite some time."
Shirlie screamed out "Oh my God!" in response to his revelation.
And it seems Shirlie was convinced that she knew the real reason as to why his friends would be eager to visit the family home – and it wasn't because Roman has two famous parents.
Their fun exchange continued as Shirlie explained: "Let's be honest about this, the only reason your mates used to really come over to the house, was because they fancied me!"
And it looks as though Shirlie was the winner of their back and forth tales, as Roman then threw his headphones off after telling his mum to keep quiet.
The presenter is certainly no stranger to being open and honest with his parents as he recently interrogated his dad over aging and pubic hair.
Speaking to exclusively to Express.co.uk, he said: "My attention is really poor and it means that my brain wants to ask lots of different questions and sometimes those ones lead to very ridiculous and quite gross answers. The other week I asked my dad, 'At what point do your pubes go grey?' And he always says, 'Why are you asking me that?' And I say, 'Because I want to know. I am you!'"
He then added: "My body is going to do the same as your body so help me out. So that's a real conversation we will have and if it makes people laugh that's fine."
