Ruth Langsford sings with makeup team at This Morning
Ruth Langsford, 62, has taken to Instagram to issue a warning to her This Morning colleague during a light-hearted backstage clip. The presenter could be seen telling a member of her makeup team not to “go too far”.
The fun short video was shared with Ruth’s one million followers ahead of her comeback to the ITV daytime show yesterday.
As the star was preparing to return to This Morning alongside Rylan Clark, she couldn’t resist larking about with her hair and makeup team.
The pair who stood behind her, Maurice Flynn and Liv Davey, were dancing along as they sang along to I Feel Love by Donna Summer.
Makeup assistant Liv appeared to get a bit carried away with the dancing, as Ruth had to jokingly deliver a warning to bring her back to her work.
The makeup artist began dancing around freely as she strolled off camera.
Ruth then abruptly said: “Alright Liv, don’t go too far”, as they all chuckled.
It marks the first time that Ruth has fronted the ITV breakfast show since October 2021 alongside Rylan.
The Loose Women star previously presented the show alongside her husband Eamonn Holmes until late last year.
They were replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary at the start of 2021.
Eamonn confirmed in December that he was leaving This Morning to pursue his presenting role at GB News.
The star, who had appeared on the show for 15 years, said that GB News was one of his most exciting broadcasting ventures yet.
He said: “I’ve spent my career on broadcasting firsts and start-ups, and GB News is one of the most exciting yet.

“It’s just the kind of shake-up the industry needs.”
Eamonn previously explained to The Mirror why he was enticed by GB News.
He said: “I’ve admired GB News from the beginning for its clever mix of punchy debate but delivered with warmth and even some fun.
“To me the greatest honour in journalism is to give a voice and respect to the unheard, and that’s exactly what GB News is all about.”
Ruth will be presenting with Rylan for a week who she lovingly described as her “TV son” on Instagram.
She penned on Instagram: “Excited to be reunited with my TV son @rylan on @thismorning tomorrow….
“Let the fun begin! Hope you can join us at 10.00 am on @itv.”
Rylan commented on the post, writing: “ONE WEEK ONLY MUTHHHAAAA . See u in the morning gorgeous x.”
