Paul Cattermole discusses S Club 7 reunion tour in February
Paul Cattermole reportedly owed more than £20,000 in debt and bills at the time of his shocking death in April.
According to The Sun, documents show that he had total holdings of £35,773, but after the deductions left £15,489 to his loved ones.
A source told the outlet: “Paul was not in a good way before he died and was not doing well financially.
“Although it is shocking a member of the group would not be well-off, people who knew Paul might not be surprised by how little he left.”
S Club 7 member, and Paul’s ex, Hannah Spearritt previously claimed that the group made £150,000 a year despite selling more than 10 million albums and landing four UK number one singles and two BRIT Awards.

She told The Sun on Sunday in January: “We may not have got what we deserved in comparison to how much we made.
“I won’t feel guilty for saying that, because we made millions and millions of pounds.
“Luckily, I was very sensible. My dad looked after me and I bought property straight away. I was one of the lucky ones.”
Paul had been open about his struggles with money and previously confirmed he had sold his BRIT Award on eBay.

He told NME in 2018 that he got £60,000 for the coveted award and recognised the buyer as one of his fans.
He said: “A lot of people have been saying to me: ‘Fair play to you, mate, sorry to hear you’re having difficult financial times.’
“I expected it to go for anything five to 10 [thousand]. I’ll be honest, if it had gone for that, I would have been happy. It just started going crazy.”
Appearing on Loose Women that same year, Paul said he had been “working odd jobs” to make ends meet.
This included regular work as a radio manager for a community radio station in Swanage.
Paul’s death came just weeks after S Club 7 announced a reunion tour, which is set to begin in October.
He was found dead at his home in Dorset on April 6. His cause of death was later confirmed as natural causes.
