Sarah Ferguson has shared that the late Queen's corgis are no longer grieving her death.
The Duchess of York, 63, appeared on Rylan Clark's BBC Radio 2 show and explained that the corgis she adopted following the Queen's passing are now "really happy".
She was on the show to promote her new book, A Most Intriguing Lady, when the topic of the corgis, Muick and Sandy, came up.
When asked how they're getting on, Sarah answered: "They're great, they're really happy, and their tails have gone up now, so I think they are over their grief."
She later added that the dogs are "so sweet".
"I think they've been trained by her [the Queen] to be so gentle," she said.
"When you take a little digestive biscuit and break like she used to with her little hands… she must have put a little biccie in front of them, and they gently take it."
Sarah adopted the dogs following the Queen's death in September 2022, moving them to Royal Lodge, her home in Windsor she shares with her ex husband, Prince Andrew.
In an appearance on This Morning just a few days before her chat with Rylan, the Duchess spoke to resident animal communicator Beth Lee-Crowther about the dogs' grief.
The pet psychic said: "Muick and Sandy have adapted really well to being with you, Sarah. But I feel that one of them in particular is really linked to you and keeps following you around and looking for reassurance all the time.
"I do believe that they are feeling grief, but you're handling it really well."
Beth continued to say: "But one of them shows me that their diet is off. That they feel like, to me, is a bit bloated, so it might be good to look at perhaps a different food."
In Sarah's interview with Rylan, she shocked the presenter and DJ, by revealing an unexpected and surprise link to popstar Fergie, who boasts the same nickname as the Royal.
"Fergie did do me a huge favour and sang for my charity and raised $1 million dollars," she told Rylan.
"You’re joking?!" responded Rylan in shock as royal Fergie proceeded to explain how the fundraiser came to be.
“I rang her up and said, ‘You shouldn’t have called your album The Duchess. You’re so naughty, you’ll have to sing for your supper,’ and she said okay.
“She came to Wall Street in New York and raised $1 million dollars.”
The singer performed at the 2007 Cipriani Wall Street Concert Series, which benefitted the Sarah Ferguson Foundation.
