Selena Gomez and Zendaya have nabbed 2022 Emmy Award nominations!!
The two former Disney stars and their respective shows, Only Murders in the Building and Euphoria, both picked up several nomination across multiple categories.
Most notably, the two both earned nominations as producers, each marking a spot in history for the Emmy Awards.

Selena makes history as only the second Latina ever to be nominated for the Outstanding Comedy Series as a producer, following Salma Hayek for Ugly Betty in 2007.
Zendaya has become the youngest ever two-time nominee for Lead Actress in a Drama Series, AND she is the youngest woman to ever be nominated as a producer. If you don’t know, she’s an executive producer on Euphoria. She also won the 2020 Emmy for Lead Actress.
She was also nominated twice this year in the Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics category for “Elliot’s Song” and “I’m Tired” with Labrinth!
Only Murders has also picked up acting nominations for Steve Martin and Martin Short for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, as well as Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy for Jane Lynch, and Guest Actor for Nathan Lane, plus nominations for writing, production design, casting, directing (twice!), and more.
For Euphoria, along with Zendaya‘s nominations, Sydney Sweeney picked up a nomination for Supporting Actress (as well as Supporting actress in a limited series for The White Lotus), Music Supervision for Labrinth, Guest Actress for Martha Kelly, Guest Actor for Colman Domingo, outstanding casting, and more!
