Shannen Doherty shares video ahead of tumour surgery
Shannen Doherty, 52, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a photo from a “much-needed” girls night with her friends.
The Hollywood star and her pals Kristy and Julie, gathered together for a photo outside Kristy Village Cafe in Malibu.
The Beverly Hills 90210 alum rocked a black long-sleeved top, brown pants, and slung a cute handbag across her shoulders for the outing to a restaurant.
She further accessorized with a hat, covering her hair loss from the chemotherapy.
Shannen’s happy update comes just days after the actress opened up about her “hard day” due to cancer and Israel-related posts.

She wrote along with a selfie: “Today has been a hard day. Obvious reasons and not-so-obvious reasons.
“But every day I pick myself up and hope that I do better. That people do better. That what’s obvious is not so convoluted.
“While I send myself love and peace, I also send love to every single one of you. Even those that have threatened me in the last week. May God be in your hearts.”
The message comes after Shannen shared a clip from CNN discussing Hamas stopping Americans from leaving Gaza.

She also shared footage of the posters of people kidnapped from Israel by Hamas, which had been posted on the wall of Union Square in New York City.
Shannen’s updates come as the star shared her stage four breast cancer had spread to her brain.
In the vulnerable video clip, she cried as the camera focused in on her face, as she underwent radiation therapy.
Shannen was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, after finding the presence of multiple tumours.
The Charmed alum then had a single mastectomy in May 2016 for this and underwent plenty of chemotherapy treatments and radiotherapy.
By 2017 the cancer was in remission, but in February 2020 she revealed the cancer did in fact return in 2019 and it was stage four.
She wrote in June: “On January 5th, my CT scan showed Mets in my brain.
“Yesterday’s video was showing the process of getting fitted for the mask, which you wear during radiation to your brain. January 12, the first round of radiation took place.
“My fear is obvious. I am extremely claustrophobic and there was a lot going on in my life.”
She shared a tearful update over the summer but continued to remain defiant against her illness.
