As King Charles III said goodbye to his beloved mother Queen Elizabeth II during the state funeral, he was supported by his wife of 17 years, Queen Consort Camilla.
As the world's eyes were on the royal family during the emotionally-charged day we say many displays of grief including Princess Charlotte's crying and Meghan Markle wiping away her own tears.
Camilla wanted to ensure her husband knew she was there for him while dealing with her own emotions.
Body Language Expert Judi James told OK!: "Camilla looked sombre, edgy and nervous during the service and clearly wanted to offer silent support to her husband."
Judi notes that while Camilla tried to keep a more neutral expression, Charles showed more emotion including when God Save the King was sang by the congregation to conclude the funeral.
Grief-stricken Charles was visibly moved and looked close to tears as the national anthem filled the Westminster Abbey, while he remained silent.
"Charles was more openly emotional," said Judi. "His eyes were reddened as he arrived at the service and he was seen dabbing his nose walking in, as well as before leaving, suggesting some shedding of tears."
His feelings were also clear to Judi as he started the procession, with the expert adding: "As he walked behind the coffin his hand gestures signalled high levels of emotion and anxiety.
"His hands clenched and unclenched frequently, as well as patting the side of his leg as though trying to brace himself mentally."
In a message released by Buckingham Palace, King Charles thanked those who have supported him during this time of mourning.
He wrote: “Over the last ten days, my wife and I have been so deeply touched by the many messages of condolence and support we have received from this country and across the world.
“In London, Edinburgh, Hillsborough and Cardiff we were moved beyond measure by everyone who took the trouble to come and pay their respects to the lifelong service of my dear mother, The late Queen.

In a final loving gesture for his mother, he selected the special floral arrangement that rested on her coffin and wrote a handwritten note to accompany it.
