Sophie Turner has provided irrefutable proof that she and her estranged husband Joe Jonas were planning a future together in England with their two daughters.
In new court documents, filed earlier this week, the 27-year-old actress shared a letter, allegedly penned by her ex, to persuade a homeowner in Wallingford, Oxford to sell them their $9.1 million estate in Wallingford, Oxford.
‘When my wife and I decided we were going to spend more time in the UK and search for a permanent home, our daughter expressed three unwavering requirements: having chickens, a pony and a Wendy house,’ he enthusiastically told the seller.
Jonas, 34, added: ‘While many of the houses we viewed met this criteria, the moment we turned the corner and caught sight of the charming blue shutters adorning, we experienced a sense of magic unlike anything we had felt before.’

According to Page Six, the musician claimed that he saw himself having picnics there with his little girls Willa, three and Delphine, 14 months, alongside the home’s ‘beautiful walled garden.’
‘I have been completely charmed by the idea of dropping my children to school on the boat and being able to spend a leisurely afternoon cruising to the pub with friends on my very own boat,’ he continued. ‘You have designed your home beautifully – I was incredibly inspired by the layout of the rooms and the energy of the house.’
‘I couldn’t help but notice the musicality of the house and the fact it has a huge room ready to be my recording studio is amazing – there is nothing about the design we would want to change,’ Jonas raved.
The dad-of-two added that father-in-law, Andrew Turner, ‘is an incredibly keen gardener’ that was ‘suitably impressed’ by the property’s vegetable garden.
As he imagined spending the rest of his life in England, the Grammy nominee said he and Turner could really ‘envision’ their kids ‘growing up here and making this our forever home.’
He concluded that his family would spend ‘many years’ paying ‘homage to the magic’ that the previous owner ‘created.’
The letter was well-received by the seller, who accepted the former couple’s offer and a 10 percent deposit of $914,130 on July 7, just two months before their split.

‘When my wife and I decided, we were going to spend more time in the UK and search for a permanent home, our (oldest) daughter expressed three unwavering requirements: having chickens, a pony and a Wendy house,’ Jonas allegedly said.
The father-of-two continued, ‘While many of the houses we viewed met this criteria, the moment we turned the corner and caught sight of the charming blue shutters adorning, we experienced a sense of magic unlike anything we had felt before.’
‘Stepping into your beautiful walled garden, we were greeted by the sight of your children enjoying a delightful picnic in the dappled shade of a tree accompanied by a macramé swing it was simply heavenly,’ he marveled.
Jonas added: ‘I have been completely charmed by the idea of dropping my children to school on the boat and being able to spend a leisurely afternoon cruising to the pub with friends on my very own boat. You have designed your home beautifully – I was incredibly inspired by the layout of the rooms and the energy of the house.’
‘I couldn’t help but notice the musicality of the house and the fact it has a huge room ready to be my recording studio is amazing – there is nothing about the design we would want to change. I really think Sophie and I will be able to look after and for many many years pay homage to the magic you have created,’ Joe wrote in the letter.
Jonas concluded the note, by mentioning that the property received a stamp of approval from Turner’s dad.
He stated, ‘My father in law is an incredibly keen gardener, an he was suitable impressed by your vegetable garden too, a very important sign off.’
At the time, he reportedly texted one of Turner’s sisters-in-law that they ‘officially own a home in the UK.’
According to court documents, obtained by Page Six, the ‘sale of the house in Oxford is set to be finalized on December 2.’
The insider pointed out that the ‘house is in escrow and the sale never closed.’
The update comes as DailyMail.com learned in new court filing that a judge ordered that the pair’s kids cannot be removed from the US until the court hearing on October 3.
The Games of Thrones has maintained that she and Jonas ‘agreed and committed to relocate to England’ last year, and moved out of their Miami home on March 10.
As they began to put down roots in England, Turner claims that their eldest ‘enrolled in a nursery full-time in England and Wales’ in the spring.
‘When my wife and I decided we were going to spend more time in the UK and search for a permanent home, our daughter expressed three unwavering requirements: having chickens, a pony and a Wendy house,’ he told the seller; seen in 2022
The pair ultimately sold their property in Florida for a whopping $15 million in August.
Their personal possessions and belongings were ‘shipped’ to the UK ‘between May 5 and July 31.’
Earlier this week, Turner and Jonas agreed to temporarily keep their children in New York, after she sued him to return their children’s passports to her.
The court agreement, filed on Monday and obtained by DailyMail.com, states that their daughters must remain in New York’s Southern or Eastern Districts – an area which covers New York City, the Hudson Valley and Long Island.
According to the filing, Sophie and Joe ‘have agreed to the entry of the attached proposed Interim Consent Order, without prejudice to either party’s claims and defenses, prohibiting the removal of the parties’ children from the jurisdictions… pending further order of this Court.’
The court order was filed to ‘protect the well-being of the (children) involved’, the document filed by Turner’s lawyer Stephen Cullen states.
But it is also to ‘prevent the (children’s) further removal or concealment before the final disposition of the petition’.
The filing comes as an apparent truce between the exes after exchanging allegations against each other over the last two weeks.
A draft copy of the order must now be signed by Judge Katherine Polk Failla, who is overseeing the case.
It cites the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and the International Child Abduction Remedies Act as the law governing the dispute.
The first hearing is due to take place at the federal court in Manhattan on October 3.
The couple, who had been married for four year and have a three-year-old name Willa, welcomed their second daughter, Delphine, in court papers, in July 2022
The filing comes just a few days after Jonas issued a sensational rebuttal of estranged wife’s claims after she accused him of withholding their children’s passports and refusing to let them travel to see her in the UK.
Turner on Thursday filed a lawsuit in order to try and move their two children back to her native England.
After this news emerged, a representative for Jonas said in a statement to DailyMail.com that the singer was seeking ‘shared parenting’ with the Game Of Thrones star and added: ‘The children were not abducted.’
‘This is an unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending. When language like ‘abduction’ is used, it is misleading at best, and a serious abuse of the legal system at worst. The children were not abducted,’ the representative said.
‘After being in Joe’s care for the past three months at the agreement of both parties, the children are currently with their mother. Sophie is making this claim only to move the divorce proceedings to the UK and to remove the children from the U.S. permanently.’
Jonas’s representative also said the singer had ‘already disavowed any and all statements purportedly made on his behalf that were disparaging of Sophie.’
‘They were made without his approval and are not consistent with his views. His wish is that Sophie reconsider her harsh legal position and move forward in a more constructive and private manner,’ the statement said.

‘His only concern is the well-being of his children.’
The representative also denied Turner’s allegation that she did not know he was filing for divorce.
‘After multiple conversations with Sophie, Joe initiated divorce proceedings in Florida, as Florida is the appropriate jurisdiction for the case. Sophie was aware that Joe was going to file for divorce,’ the representative said.
‘The Florida Court has already entered an order that restricts both parents from relocating the children. Sophie was served with this order on September 6, 2023, more than two weeks ago.’
Further Jonas’s representative said the former couple had a ‘cordial meeting this past Sunday in New York,’ where Turner had arrived to be with their children.
‘They have been with her since that meeting. Joe’s impression of the meeting was that they had reached an understanding that they would work together towards an amicable co-parenting setup,’ the statement said.

In documents filed to the US District Court in New York on Thursday, the performer petitioned ‘for the return of children to England.’
Shock split: The couple’s messy separation was thrust into the spotlight earlier this month when Jonas – who is currently on tour with the Jonas Brothers – filed for divorce in Miami, Florida (seen last month)
‘Petitioner, Sophie Belinda Turner (the “Mother”), by and through her undersigned attorneys, files this Verified Petition for Return of Children to England (the “Petition”), against the Respondent, Joseph Adam Jonas (the “Father”), the court filing reads.
The couple’s messy separation was thrust into the spotlight earlier this month when Jonas – who is currently on tour with the Jonas Brothers – filed for divorce in Miami, Florida.
The couple had been married for four years and welcomed their second daughter in July 2022.
Turner also alleges that the former couple had plans for her and the children to join Jonas and his family on his band’s US tour before returning to the UK where they would live in a rental property.
She claimed they would move into a new home in the UK when it was completed in December of this year.
In preparation for their relocation to the UK, the couple listed their family home in Miami.
‘On or about April 10, 2023, the family relocated to England’ and have been staying in rentals as they awaited to move into their new home, according to the filing.
The actress also disputed Jonas’s claim in his divorce filings that the children had lived in Florida for six months before announcing their split.
At this time, Turner has been reportedly crashing at her superstar pal Taylor Swift’s Tribeca townhouse and the St. Regis Hotel with her and Jonas’ two daughters.
