Jody Cundy dances on Strictly
Strictly Come Dancing fans think Paralympic champion Jody Cundy might be “in trouble tonight” after his Paso Doble with partner Jowita Przystal failed to impress some viewers.
The pair, who performed the fiery number to rock band AC/DC’s classic hit Thunderstruck, received only three points from judge Craig Revel Horwood.
Meanwhile, BBC viewers took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to share their opinions on the divisive number.
“Oh no, I really didn’t like Jody’s paso, I think he could be in trouble tonight,” wrote Margot.
Kevin tweeted: “Ooh, uncomfortable from Jody. It’s like a Paso but slower. Fire quite unnecessary and time-wasted at the start. Not great, which is a shame.”

This is very messy,” Robin penned, while another fan agreed: “Jody’s performance just looked so messy.”
“Didn’t enjoy Jody’s dance. Very awkward,” one more wrote, while Gary lamented: Tough for Jody. It was a difficult one.”
James penned: “After a couple of good dances, Jody’s Paso wasn’t great. Feel like they covered a lot of lack of content with fire, fire and more fire.”

Val commented: “Pity that Jody has a paso this week after Nigel’s impressive one last week.
“Jowita pretty much danced round him while he stomped around.” (sic)
Last week, EastEnders legend Nigel Harman and his professional partner Katya Jones danced the Paso Doble to Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, earning an extremely positive reception from the judges and audiences.
Another viewer named Dylan also agreed that Jody is at risk of going home, adding: “Jowita going from winning to first boot possibly?”
Last year, Jowita lifted the glitterball trophy after going on the win with BBC presenter Hamza Yassin.
While many viewers weren’t convinced by Jody’s dance, one fan named Jack argued that the athlete should be cut some slack, writing: “Craig being quite too harsh on Jody Cundy.” (sic)
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, while Strictly Come Dancing: The Results airs tomorrow night at 7.15pm.
